Scarab Battleship

The staple of the Eronese fleets. The Scarab Battleship is seen in almost every conflict involving the Eronese. Named for its beetle-like shape, the Scarab Battleship is a hardy fighter with excellent forward combat capabilities thanks to its triple missile launchers, modified to swarm from all sides, dual sidewinder setup, and front shielding mechanism. The gatling blasters and beamers on its sides allow it to functiona adequately in a broadside situation, and its rear isn't left undefended thanks to the dual blasters and two rotating blasters, though its stern is relatively weak on defense when compared with the sides and the bow.

Missile Launcher x3 (Increased fire speed, increased reload time, fire displacement increased to cause a swarm)
Beamer x4
GatBlaster x2 (Clip Size increased to 10)
Point Defence x4
Flak Cannon x2
Quad Blaster x2
Blaster x2
Sidewinder x2

Defender

The Defender is essentially a modified defense platform. The Eronese were mostly a peaceful people, and mass-produced defense platforms in the event of an attack. After they were forced into war, they modified their existing platforms with simple ion engines and a massively modified hyper beam cannon. Thanks to these modifications, the Defender is very slow to maneuver, but its defenses are nearly impenetrable by projectiles, and its cannon cuts a brutal swath through the bleakness of space. If you see a Defender charging its cannon, you would do well to run.

Point Defense x8
Flak Cannon x4
Hyper Beamer x1 (Heavily modified, fires longer, does more damage, has much more range, reload increased to twenty)

Vindicator

The Vindicator is a relatively light, frigate class ship. It is fairly quick, and sports a modified shock beam as its main weapon. The two flak cannons with increased ammo capacity allow it to swiftly maneuver towards an enemy ship, blasting away hostile projectiles, unleash its shock beam, and then make its getaway.

Pulse x2 (Modified 360 degree arc)
Flak Cannon x2 (Clip Size increased to 30)
Quad Blaster x1
Shock Beam x1 (Modified, heavier damage, longer range)

EDIT: Will write up background on the Eronese later.

Scarab and Defender are downloadable here. No Vindicator as it was my first ship, and every part is routed through that big front part so it's way too easy to destroy.

Scorpion Battlecruiser

The pride and joy of Eronese engineers everywhere, the Scorpion Battlecruiser is a hulking, almost insectoid behemoth. It has three forward facing permanent shield projectors and two targetable shield projectors. Its six forward mounted beamers and forward mounted mega beam slice through enemy ships like a hot knife through butter, and the two modified gatling blasters add a little extra punch to it. Its flanks are protected by a number of pulse cannons, several additional beamers, and two wide spray, rapid-fire gatling blasters. Unfortunately, all the focus on offense left its rear almost completely undefended but for a number of point defense systems.

Front:
Beamer x6 (Reduced reload, increased damage)
Gatling Blaster x2 (Increased clip size, decreased fire spread)
Mega Beam x1 (Increased range, damage increased to 2)
Railgun x2

Sides:
Pulse Cannon x8
Gatling Blaster x2 (Clip size, shot deviation, fire speed all increased dramatically)
Beamer x4

Point Defense:
Point Beam x9
Flak Cannon x7

Shineh... Looks more like a beetle or a crab than a scorpion though.

Yeah, but I fancied a scorpion since I already had a scarab, and it has the pointy tail plus the claw looking things in the front. I'm really proud of the way the Scorpion looks. I just hope that as I make more ships, I can match it in terms of aesthetics.
