Random stock-ish CE shite from me

Leopard-class Cruiser;
Fast attack cruiser, maybe. Will probably strip off some of the ablatives later. Starting to think it's overgunned. Was an attempt at an almost-entirely-stock-like ship. Sabots are modded for six shots per mag, but very small firing arcs and long reloads.

Dauntless-class Assault Cruiser;
WIP. Powerful cruiser that can pack a serious punch. Has the 'central' cannon there that can put out some serious oomph but has a very limited arc of fire. Engines
can be destroyed to reduce mobility but are fairly well protected unless you get in pretty much right behind it.

Nice job. I see you put my little bridge section to good use. The color scheme is a bit on the dull side, though. Excellent section usage overall, and pixel perfect as always.

Added turret hardpoints to the outer wings. The ship will probably be fitted with quad ultralight ACs on the outer and forward points, and maybe dual heavy ACs on the center two.

Testing the quad AC turret in-engine. 10-frame reload, 20 damage per shot as default not counting submunitions (which it won't have when the next patch rolls around) so that's... 60 DPS per gun? Four per turret equals 240 DPS if my calculations are correct. Again, this is discounting submunitions.

Cool.
Very grey, though. Those centerline cannon turrets can be mistaken for section detail if someone doesn't pay close enough attention.

I dunno. Squary cannons on a more curved ship doesn't seem to work so well, IMHO. A little more color highlights on the wings would be nice.

That's a really nice solid design, unspectacular but in good way.
I particularly like the central spine of the ship. I actually like the ship in the 2nd post too, very hard sci-fi functional.
