Okay, maybe I'm just silly, but Im saving my ships, and they do not appear in the Custom Ships folder...

Help anyone?

P.S. I have a nagging feeling it might be Vista again...

Just to be sure, you are saving them *in* the Custom Ships folder, right...? :D

Yup, checked it twice already. Also checked documents, appdata, and whatnot. I must be doing something wrong! :)

The weirdest thing is - when I load up BF, in sandbox mode - they are all there! O.o

P.S. Just in case, I already AM displaying hidden files and folders.

My best guess is to play around with the "view folder" options in your OS.

Heh, tried that, and again - didnt work. :) If I can be bothered, I'll post some screenies of the folder, as well as of the load ship in BF sandbox mode.

Heh, I have a nice package of od fashioned WW2 ships I'd like to share with everyone, so thats how I originally found the problem.

From top to bottom:
Battleship
Carrier
Cruiser
Destroyer
Torpedo Boat
Fleet Tender (Repair)

did you save them in a different custom ships directory, from an earlier release?

Nope, downloaded the latest release, did not modify anything at all in the game. Did not have any previous installations of the game. Sadly, can't make it work. :)

I've no idea why this might be happening. However, if the files are showing up in sandbox when you try to import them then it's definitely an OS problem. I would suggest double-checking your filetypes settings for these files.

I'll fiddle around and I'll tell you what it is, once I figure it out. As a solo developer, I know how much good it'll do ;)

Keep you posted
