The Ikarianus Despotic Council (New style attempted)
The Ikarianus (Ikarianu for single) are an advanced race technologically, however, they are led by a government that follows the ancient rules of despotism. They rule with an iron fist and anything that opposes them, internally or externally is destroyed.
The Ikarianus do not seem to have developed ideas such as culture. They socialise but not as we know it. They communicate telepathically, almost never coming together in contexts other than the spaceships and biodomes they create. They are primitive in that respect. They are also quite physically weak, their bone structure is brittle and prone to smashing or breaking. Their internal organs are also much less efficent than ours apart from their lungs. They are a semi-aquatic species, Amphibian much like frogs and mudskippers. They require to submerge themselves in water at least once every 50-60 hours it is believed.
Their ships are strange constructions, utilizing primitive fear design traits (spikes etc) with angular, more traditional methods of design.
The Ikarianus Cruiser packs one hell of a punch, it has a 3-wave-beam distortion cannon mounted on it's front that can slice through ships quite easily.
Like so.
UPDATED VERSION:
It is a totally new design with a better coulor scheme and hull that follows what I have said about their designing.
C&C needed please!!!

Not enough Delta in your life? Have a look at https://twitter.com/Deltabacon1 - I do a fair amount of casting and esports analysis which may appeal to some of you who are that way inclined!
yes, I must say that the yellow really looks bad being that one spot, with the rest entirely blue. Try blending it or adding accents to the rest of the ship. Structure wise, I wish you could have made that cool curvy claw effect in the front without the repetition, but it would be somewhat difficult. Very pretty beam!

Errmmm... look at the two curves at the front... they end in spikes.
Although if that is not how you see it, I understand.

Well ya those are spikes but if you wanna put spikes all over it might look better. Try a couple 19s, but mostly 12s. If you put them behind everything so only the spiky parts are sticking out they look pretty sick. Bah can't find the picture of the one I did it on, but it would probably look better on your ship anyway.

Also, could people who vote please state their reasons for their choice? There is a lot more voters than posts...

I kind of dislike the shape of the ship, maybe I am not very much a fan of curvy/alienic ship.
(In the meantime, post at my new post too, my post got more voters than comments too.)

WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE?!
Nah, seriously, this new version is a winner! Much better depth perception, wayyy better colors. The section 01's near the rear look a little out of place, other than that, I can't find much to complain about.
The assault cruiser looks a little flat, IMO, though. The core design/shape is pretty good, and the aegis highlights fit well...
