Wow, the Sargomenon is made of seven different kinds of win.

What's the blue orb in the front supposed to be, fluff-wise?

Same statement and question from me.

Also your red transparent sections disappeared in the action shot.

It's a giant crystalline orb, part of the Aeiraan's FTL communications and transport system, as well as a massive power source.

I'll be fleshing it all out when I write up the background, rest assured.

Smaller versions of those crystals will be featured on most ships of Star Cruiser displacement or more.

It's actually not that complex; 41 sections and an equal number of Aegis fields:

I played around with the colours on the outer band so it's not a perfect mirror, but otherwise it's just a ball and aegis.

I presume the red sections disappeared because the boosters ran out of energy, which is an interesting idea i haven't seen on here. Perhaps battle blades that 'appear' during battle but can be depleted of energy...

I always like your ships, they just look more...solid, either from the design or colors.

^^^ fails on the concept of the doo'sections.

THERE ARE NO BOOSTERS.

Wait, are the sections in the blue circle doo'sections? Or are they normal?

Well, I think its safe to say that the Sargomenon is easily one of the most awesome ships you've ever built. :P

Thanks for all the comments, I've got two more in progress and a full fleet planned.

DOING IT WRONG!

Sorry, I could resist .

Actually, there's two versions of each ship; one for Shipmaker showcasing and one for play until I fix the mirror/flipping errors.

Those are all regular, though in retrospect I might change that...
