Mars Peoples' Union - "My comrades! The greedy capitalists on Earth has abandoned us, we are now on our own!" - Leon Trotsky, Founder of Mars People's Union

Duringd the 2050s, Several nations started their grand plans on space colonization. After years of sending unmanned probes and manned explorations, The United States an the UCA established their first permanent settlement on Mars. Since then, proud terraforming plans are announced. However on the next 20 years, nations on Earth embroiled into a state of perpetual warfare and conflicts. Conquests are more profitable than to colonize, terraforming projects are frozen then abandoned. They left the colonists on Mars to death. At the times of utmost despair, a visionary leader rose, Leon Trotsky, he led the colonists to revolt against the Earth colonial overseers, and set up a communist regime, Mars' People Union. This puzzled many historians and economists, as communism worked miraculously well on Mars, the Martian Econmics Index(MEI) skyrocketed in just 5 years; When Earth engulfed into a bitter time of war, Mars prospered. In the 2080s, when the Earth Coalition demanded peaceful annexation of Mars, and the Union refused to do so, the EC immediately imposed embargoes and sanctions on Martian products, this infuriated the Martians. In the year 2095AD, the Mars People's Union declared war on the Earth Coalition.

Uh, Trotsky? What's he doing out of his grave? Unless this guy is just a worshiper of him.

The "Red Planet" just got a whole new meaning...

Well.. I just came up with a random Russian name.... I love Cold War, and sci-fi, I am just trying to put two things together...

I like them. They are kinda clunky and steampunk looking with all the long gun barrels, big round turrets and those nice "steam pipes" sticking out from the sides, haha. The anti-cap artillery I'm not so sure about. All those railguns glued end on end don't quite make it for me, though I do like what you are trying to do there: a big cannon with a rocket strapped on.

At first I wasn't to sure about the "Christmas" color scheme, but after a bit it grows on you.

steampunk lol nice.
I like what your attempting, the mega tachyon usually makes a better turret for the railguns though. Whatever you use, just make sure you set their arc rather small so the two don't overlap when they turn to fire.

a ?, wouldn't it be Mars People's Union? Unless your writing with a Russian accent...

I really like the railgun/Missile launcher combo, looks like actual weapons I've seen. Now if only they could be attached to each other so they rotate on the same axis.

Not sure bout the quad railgun thing, probably gonna get bashed for that, but I bet it creates an interesting effect especially if you mix the colors. The supply platform is nice looking if random in spots.

About the Anti-Cap Artillery, the railguns are actually just a fixed barrel, the main firing mechanism is a shock beamer hid under the drone launcher... Initially, I was using just one resized railgun as the barrel, but it's kinda ugly, so I used 4 railguns.

Not too bad, except for the railguns lined up.

That is an instant fail. Fix it, please.

Yeah. The lined up railguns look very...bad compared to the awesome turreted rails. You should just set multiple burst, and use sections to make the barrel longer.

Or doodads...

Set start index to .5 and speed to 0 on a dooline and there you go!

The turreted rails are just like some of Anna's.

Anna's designs inspired me alot, in fact. (He is the best shipbuilder of BF, IMO)

The Dreadnaught is definitely the best of your ships, though I'm not a huge fan. I think it's a bit blocky and still fairly basic, especially in the back. I'm also in agreement with everyone else, the lined-up railguns need to go, they're ugly.
