That I know of, of course.

Its just nocture right now, but when finished it will be Tiamat

Specs so far in its unarmed form are

Name: Noturne
HP: 7000
Speed: 0.09
Turning: 0.09
AI Range: 350
Accel: 0.02
Description:
Number of sections: 2250
Total HP: 12483073.78

Currently running weapon testing.

heres a few pics, note that I am zoomed as far out as the game will let me, as the ship literally takes up the entire battlefield

Weak point detected! Attack for MASSIVE DAMAGE!
Looks awesome though. The veins are nice. I'm going to ignore the repetition.

My monilith has 400 weaponsand 2450 sections. That's more "complex" than this one. But the monilith wasn't even worth looking at. This one is accually fine. Still try no to use so much repetition.

PS please place a hestia for size comparison.

EDIT: if you have around 3000 objects including weapons, then most computers will not be able to load it. it will just stop loading after the 15 minute mark.

On what size field?

The veins (I guess that's what they are?) are interesting, I don't know about the rest of the ship as it's viewed from such a distance that possible details are left out, however, from what I see there isn't that much outside of the vein structure.
There's some very noticable areas where Section 26s just shoot out of the wings and say, "LOOK AT ME!" more around the middle of the wings than the back and front, but it's scattered here and there.
In my opinion, this shouldn't be placed in a beauty pagent.

yeah the repitition in the wings is for two reasons. One wanted to make it look like scales, and two ITS TOO FUCKING HUGE to use normal build methods. Without it looking mismatched and random that is.

also, what weak point? I know a few that I had that were fixed, Ie the parts that connect the wings to the body. They now have 8x the health of any other part and will have a high concentration of weapons and nanorepair things.

any others?

and yeah I know this one isn't outstandingly detailed, what with the wings being mostly just plates, but It was a test. I'm gonna make another, more detailed and interesting one next.

one that sorta uses the vein structures.

Largest? Far from it. Most complex? That's hard to quantify. "Most excessive usage of sections"? Yeah, that sounds about right. With even a little bit of section resizing the ship would have only half as many sections.

Also, it's not really that impressive of a ship. How many times do I have to say it? Size doesn't matter for shit. Any moron can just throw together sections until they have a huge ship. It's the looks that count, and this thing look... well, pretty damn shitty, really.

if its not the largest, which one is? I mean, maybe not the most sections, but it takes up the whole damn level. Find me one that takes up more space.

and once again

its a test you grumpy asshole

well he calls himself grumpy and his comment really does qualify the other statement.

Constructive criticism is not calling someone else's work shit

bet he'd call me an asshole if I called his work shit.

Beyond that, beauty is a personal belief, therefore its rather pretentious of him to create a guide based on his ideas of beauty and then consider it the absolute truth of the world.

He would actually laugh.
Someone's already done that before.

The largest to date, I believe, was made by me. It was twice the width of the default area and slightly longer than it to. I also didn't release it or finish it (It was going to be even longer), because a) It lagged so much that it wasn't worth the effort, and b) It looked like crap.

And so does this. I don't care if that's what you want to hear or not, it look ugly. The veins are a nice touch, sure, but the over-all shape of the ship is bland and boring and obviously just an attempt at "hey, look at me, my ship is HUUUUUUUUUGE".

PS, this grumpy asshole can delete your thread on a whim, should he choose to. Keep that in mind before being a smartass. Try making ships that are actually worthwhile, noob. Bigger does not equal better, and it doesn't impress anyone who knows what they're talking about.

So your complaining about him stating his opinion yet your bitching about the fact you assume he wouldn't let you state your own opinion without resistance?

I smell hypocrisy.

Once again, the massive lag-inducing ship is characterized by epic piece repetition (GAH 26) and epic stretching (those spike sections) overpowering one or two good ideas (veins).

There is *potential*. Not so much skilled execution. Keep working, come back when you have something that can't be built by an elementary student.

He'd ignore you and move on, because your opinion has very little reputation to back it up. And/or kill you.
