The picture isn't showing up, because you tried to link a picture that's on your computer. To let us see it, you'll have to upload the picture to an image hosting site, like photobucket. Then, change the location in the [img] tags to the url given to you by the site.

Meh. most of the hull is good but the back could do with a bit more work. Gat pulse stretching looks a little bad, and the deflectors seem a little odd.

I'll close my eyes for once since your new, but I'd appreciate it if you cropped your pictures in the future. And fix the post as well, please.

About the ship; it's not half bad. Nice to see that you've used the hexagonal mounts for the gatblasters.

Crop. The. Pictures.

Seriously. Most hosting sites have image editors with a fairly easy to find 'crop' option. Use it.

what is so bad about not cropping them?

People with small screens have to scroll.
People do not like to scroll.

A) It stretches the forums for people with small screens

B) It's useless to have 1024 by whatever pic if you're only showing a small ship.

Take your pick.

A) If you you have to scroll for THIS image you really should buy a new pc screen

B) its also useless to crop them because nobody is hurt by the size of this pic, The ammount of time required to fix this, tiny, really tiny annoyance (though it is very short action) is not even worth it. So the it doesn't matter/ don't care factor is pretty high. Just let people decide for themselves how they post their pics.

I'm quite happy with my 1024x768 resolution, and it does stretch the forums for me, when people don't crop their pictures. This one isn't as bad as some, but it's still annoying, and cropping it would be easier for everyone. It is also required by the rules. You're in no position to be telling a moderator what to do, Anty.

Ships this small do not need pictures this big, and cropping pictures takes very little effort. This is a non-issue.

The second picture looks a lot better. Glad to see that you are taking people's advice and improving your design. However, to help you more, perhaps you can also post a picture of the ship in the battleship maker so that we can see the parenting?

And since you are using photobucket to host your pics, you can crop them by clicking on the menu item 'edit images' in the photobucket page and choosing 'crop'.

EDIT: Oh wait he's not using photobucket. So I am not sure how you crop pics with that image hoster.
