My own ships, the Sidwes series! Look closely, and you'll see they all share a common core piece(which parenis the parent of most/all of the craft). Outside of that, anything goes.

Sidwes Runner: I'll get the stats up later, but it's weapon is called the "Piledriver", a Plasma Charge with 50 range, a very fast rate of fire(5 shots a second), and 5 damage a shot. The ship has 2.75 speed, 1.5 turninf, and 15 accl. As well, the core hp is 400.

EDIT:
Rebuilt the sentry to fix parenting issues and cloning bugs. Also tweaked the weapons loadout considerably.

The Sentry is a durable Cruiser designed to take a pounding blahblahblah. Not too much firepower in it's favour etc. Practically invincible except to railguns.

2x Nano Matrix
2x Demeter Launcher
2x Gatling Blaster
4x Blaster
2x Beamer
1x Dual Railgun (fires 2 shots at once - will tweak later to add shot delay)

Venom Gunship

The Venom is based loosely off the familiar Hestia though it is somewhat more compact and well-armoured. It trades speed for a little extra armour.

Most of the Venom's weaponry is stuck forward-facing with very limited arcs of fire. Also it is not particularly durable and can be quickly killed by large foes - which, when factoring in it's limited weaponry - means it must attempt to flank all opponents. It fairs decently in combat with an Alien Dreadnaught if it can manage to flank it, though it must do so early or will inevitably be defeated. The Impeder gives the craft an added edge in it's defense, allowing the unwieldy vessel to jink away from incoming blaster shots.

The Venom is also very weak against being flanked by craft like the Zelus, as a significant portion of it's weapons are on fixed facings and can only fire in a limited forward cone.

The Venom is a small, compact target, and offers very little to aim at for larger bombardment ships. In BSF terms it's definitely a Destroyer.

Loadout;

No download yet as there is a parenting issue with the wings that means they are attached to the core.

So I wondered; there's a Civilian hull, yet nobody seems to have worked with it. So I did.

Civilian Ultraheavy Cargo Liner

This titanic battleship-sized cargo vessel is used for two things;

1. Mass goods transport.
2. Planetary Invasion.

The UCL has relatively little offensive equipment and no passive defense systems (ie deflectors), relying solely on it's civilian-grade twin railgun, ten flak cannons and heavy armour to see it through combat. However the UCL is extremely slow and very unwieldy and is easily flanked. Several cargo pods are positioned on the exterior and are rarely loaded with anything worthwhile. In many cases the pods are refitted as disguised weapon platforms, the pods detaching from the ship and jettisonning plating to reveal gun turrets.

Armament: 1x Civilian Twin Railgun, 10x Flak Cannon

Civilian Twin Railgun;

Damage: 25
Rate of Fire: 1 round per second
Magazine Size: 2
Reload Time: 5 seconds
Turning Rate: 0.50; 15 degrees per second.
Max Range: 750
Deviation: +/-10 degrees

.shp file coming later when I correct a few ordering and positioning issues.

Just two simple battleships: The Axium Demeter-class capital ship (the green one) and the Ordean Tyr-class capital ship! (the blue one)

They're balanced IMO, since a Cronus can rip Tyr into half and destroy Demeter quick (since Demeter is designed for support) But in some cases, they can destroy other capitals by themselves, if used well :D

The Civilian Heavy Cargo Liner is now available for download here :)

Enjoy escorting it. It has a pretty decent speed - not too fast for a large civilian ship, but not too slow either. Turns extremely poorly though. Can be outrun by a Hecate.
