Custom Ships Gallery
This is the place to post pictures and links to your ship files. The purpose of this topic is to serve as a catalogue for all the Custom Ships that users have made. To create a custom ship, first of all you need to get the Ship Maker. If you don't already have it, you can get it here:

With the Ship Maker, create your own ship to your specifications and press the S key to save the ship. You can then upload the ship files to the Custom Ship Database on Wyrdysm.com over here:

no special equipment, vunrible throat, quick but not highly manouverable, no weapon coverage to the rear.
Not sure if I picked the right weapons for her primaries (the tripple forward mounts), oh well...

Weaknesses:Large sections(tail) can be removed with 1 peice giving acsess to bridge,Slow turn and movement speed,if the gravitybeams are out of energy the front is vunerable.

Oenone D (laser destroyer):
- Due to Oenone's flawed design, Oenone D takes Oenone's weapons into a redesigned hull such that it won't get destroyed easily. A beamer and the Lancet Beam are replaced by Deflector Devices to improve its defensive side.
Pros: 4 beamers are destructive as the old Oenone did.
Cons: Vulnerable from the attack from the rear. Use deflector devices wisely. Slow weapon loading time is also its cons.

Quadryus (defensive battleship):
- Being an upgrade of Helios, Quadryus is a battleship which give very good defensive weapons (8 Point Masers). 4 Aegis Deflectors are also included to this ship for better defense. Its large hull give it possible to defend a large area. However, due to its defensive side, its offensive side is weak as only few short-ranged weapons available.
Pros: 8 Point Masers and 4 Aegis Deflectors, do any ship can defend up like that?
Cons: Only few short-ranged weapons available. The four wings can be destroyed easily so use the Aegis Deflectors to protect them. It is also slow turning, as other battleship does.

Scythe: (Un-mirrored Destroyer)
- This is a non-mirrored ship, and is very different to other mirrored ship. It has a rather good amount of weapons, but its design is flawed and if its base is destroyed, it'd lost a large amount of weapons.
Pros: Quite an amount of weapons
Cons: In case the base has been destroyed, it'd lost a large amount of weapons. Use the Aegis Deflector Devices to help it.

Thunder: (Laser Patrol Craft)
- This is the newest design to fit beamers onto a patrol craft. It gives a long range weapon support to other ships.
Pros: 3 Lasers are about to give long range weapon support
Cons: It does not even got any hull, so it can be destroyed very easily.

The premier orbital bombardment ship, the "Monitor" class Orbital Suppression Platform is designed to engage in duels with planetary defense centers, necessitating both a mountain of armor and a weapon capable of obliterating a vast swath of land. A pair of MegaBolters, each the equivalent of no less than eight normal Gluon Bolters, fulfills the job well. However, because the amount of energy required to power these gargantuan far surpasses the amount provided by the standard ship core, each MegaBolter has its own gargantuan reactor*. These reactors, though well protected from the front, have only a small amount of armor from the rear, as the designers operated under the assumption that the local space would be cleared before the craft was deployed. The reactors are also highly vulnerable to craft equipped with armor penetrating weapons. Unfortunately, the destruction of a reactor will neutralize fully half of the ships main battery, a hefty chunk of its point defense, and will reveal the side of the crafts engine compartment. Another weakness of the ship is it's almost complete reliance on its two MegaBolters, as its only conventional offensive armament is a pair of blasters at the very front. Despite the hefty weaknesses inherent in its design, many fleet commanders will include one of the ships in their fleet, as its ability to decimate, if not destroy, an enemy battleship in a single salvo is invaluable.


I think it's fairly well balanced, considering the fact that it has 16 Gluon Bolters.

Here's a balance-tested ship that is demonstrably on par with the Cronus but very different in style. I think it would make a good addition to the game as a slightly faster and more versatile battleship but with less armour:

Hello Everyone. Here's my first ships:

Infantry Fighter

Turning 4
This guy is made for power, but is fast to get destroyed if it doesn't destroy it's enemies quickly. Don't throw them in the middle of a crossfire, and they will be valuable support.
Pros: High power
Cons: Somewhat fragile, will die faster than most if it can't handle the opposition
Nullifiers
HP 200
Speed 1.75
Turning 1
Has a crazy good defence, with 10 particle guns and a deflector device. It's three lasers can then annihilate opposition at it's leisure.
Pros: Very high defence with good power to back it up
Cons: Somewhat low HP, isn't as effective against laser heavy ships

It's two Aegis Deflectors and nanomatrices can make it nearly indestructible. Is only really vulnerable when an entire enemy fleet focuses it's attention on it.
Pros: Nearly indestructible, Healing devices
Cons: It's small offense is easily negated

Equipped with two Gatling Blasters, two particle guns, and a scatter beam.
Pros: Fairly good offense
Cons: Exposed hull can cause it to die quite fast
Earth's Ozone Layer

Designed to look like a wall, it will destroy anything in front of it quickly.
Pros: Deadly from the front, 3 deflector modules
Cons: Vulnerable back as the deflector modules are exposed
Ultimanium
HP 1000
Speed 2
Turning 1
A close range killing machine fairly fast to boot. Designed to be an ultimate weapon, and only a few exist in the universe.
Pros: Kills very, very fast, two Gluon bolters
Cons: Isn't completely indestructible, whoops (13 Upgraded Pirate Cruisers kill it)
Since a destroyer is worth two patrol craft, I thought it might be interesting to have a ship which 'tows' two Thetises. Although it appears to have more sections and a Gatling Bladster more too, remember the core itself is barely protected by the front sections and the Thetises are tied into position and forced to go really slow.

It is the fleet HQ trial to copy enemies' ships' hull into their own ships, with a captured Tachyon Cannon and Mining Beam installed onto it. It is a ship with both old Fleet HQ techniques and captured enemies' techniques.
Pros: Multi-purpose ship, quite a lot of weapons which can do both long-ranged and short-ranged, front and rear attacks.
Cons: Vulnerable to long-ranged attacks from the rear, especially if those are not interceptable.
Octarius:
This is the battleship meant to bring heavy firepower to enemy, so it includes 4 QuadBlaster and 4 GatBlaster. It also features 2 Booster Device to further increase its firepower.
Pros: Can really bring LOTS of firepower to enemy at any angle. It also have high HP.
Cons: Wide structure make it lost weapons easily. Lacks interception weapons to defend itself.

1. Epsilon Mining Barge - Destroyer
Simply put, this is a mining barge that has been refitted for military use.

Weapons:
4 Mining Beams
1 Point Maser
HP: 500
Speed: 2
Turn Speed: 0.5

The ship is balanced in my opinion, the mining beams only have a firing arc of 5 degrees, so in order to attack it must always be facing head on.
2. Nyx - Battleship
This is based upon the Hecates design, but modified making it more of a close range brute.

4 Gatling Pulse Guns
1 Point Maser
HP: 300
Speed: 1.75
Turn Speed: 0.5

The Hemerin can tear thru a #19 in 3 seconds. Its the one on the left, blowing stuff up.
The Lepram is Much more powerful, but not as fast. it is on the right, blowing stuff up.
