Second download is out, containing all ships shown here, with fixed weapons and health.

Basically, this project is an extension of the Star Trek Fanship project I've been running. This project will include the more powerful ships like the Monarch class (hence the name) and my own Trek-inspired designs.

After last night's debacle, I redid it. I'll keep showing the first picture, cos they're almost exactly the same.

Very nice! You pulled off that repetition very well. Is it a canon ship?

Usually they use phasers, not cannons. However, I'm not sure if it's canon to the series.

If you look closely you can see it was based of a drawing on graph paper.

Oh and the ships is awesome.

You, good sir, scare me. A lot. In a good way though.
And it certainly sucks that you lost all that work.

I have commented but once on your 14 or so pages of star trek ships however I have read through them and admired the ship designs. And now, I will comment again.

I feel truly sorry for you having lost all that hard work, I know what it feels like, having lost a 1000 and something piece ship myself, and being unable to access my papal fleet due to the fact that the computer with the ships is fucked up.

Anyways, amazing ship, good piece repetition, good colour scheme, amazing design, generally awesome. I like it the most of all your star trek ships, however, the rear parts look a bit weak. I assume the health has been upped on them right?

No, I stole it from the gpg forums but I'm not mazrix.

I noticed how thin and spidery the engineering section is compared to most Star Trek designs. It's very interesting.

13 replies? Okay then! Just a tic:

@everyone: thanks, people. I had put a lot of work into it, yes. That kinda explains the cynical tone of the first post

Anyways,

@Bad Boy: I was just getting to the part on which I started tweaking it when my screen went black, so...you can expect that on the second version.

@Wolfy: yup; that's it. The Enterprise-J. I found the class name on Filefront, so I'm not sure whether it's right, but it seemed appropiate.

The ship is only partially canon. The color scheme and style are of course the ones seen in that picture, but the warp nacelles and the overall design are my own, based on in-game pictures and the like.

For a large part of this day, I'll be working on the second try, and you'll probably see it somwhere this afternoon.

That's right. One I made some time ago.
