The Kaimira Fleet is the navy of the Xen Alliance, which is located at the furthest reaches of known space. The Xen trade with human settlers near their borders, but aggressively destroy any pirate ships or bases they encounter.

Patrol Craft
Wrasse-class patrol craft
Image
The Wrasse is a small fast patrol craft used for flanking attacks and escort duty. It is armed with two pulse cannons and one gatling pulse cannon.

Fusilier-class missile boat
Image
The Fusilier fires devastating volleys of missiles from four rapid-fire missile launchers. However, it is slow and lightly armoured to give more room for ammunition.

Destroyers
Zaphira-class light destroyer
Image
Zaphiras are fast and manoeuverable, making them ideal for flanking attacks on battleships and dreadnoughts. They mount two Blasters, one Gatling Blaster, and a flak cannon.

Ray-class defense Destroyer
Image
The Ray is a ship designed to defend against enemy weapons - it has two flak cannons, two particle guns, and a Rorschach Resistor Device which bends enemy beams. It also has two blasters for defense against enemy ships.

Dolphin-class destroyer
Image
The Dolphin-class is armed with a Plasma Grenade Launcher, two blasters and four missile launchers. Two deflectors and two particle guns provide defensive capabilities.

Battleships
Orca-class battleship
Image
The Orca battleship can fire huge broadsides, each consisting of three Beamers and three blasters, but its frontal attack capability is limited - two blasters and one gatling blaster. The Orca also mounts two Demeter drone launchers, two flak cannons, two point beams, and four Aegis deflector modules which protect the ship's nose.

Balaena-class carrier
Image
Ten hangars of Demeter drones, enhanced by Booster modules, are the Balaena carrier's primary weapons. It also carries a Demeter Pod launcher. Six blaster cannons and two Particle guns are the limit of the carrier's defensive capability.

Blue Whale-class dreadnought
Image
The Blue Whale is a massive, heavily armed dreadnought. Four deflectors and four flak cannons defend the ship, while an impressive array of weapons including Plasma Grenade Launchers, Rapid-fire missile launchers, Gatling Blasters, and Beamers devastate the enemy. Four Pulse Guns and two batteries of four Blasters provide some protection against flanking attacks.

Support Craft
Coral-class Combat Engineering Vessel
Image
The Coral is a Combat Engineering Vessel (CEV) capable of producing defense platforms and repairing ships. It has one omnidirectional Gatling Blaster for defense. A short-range jump device means it can quickly move around the battlefield.

Right Whale-class Armed Merchantman
Image
The Right Whale-class armed merchantman was designed for trading with other races near the Outer Fringes of the Xen Alliance. Piracy is rife in these areas, and as the pirates usually attack in swarms, the Right Whale is armed with a specially modified area-suppression Gatling Blaster, two Gatling Pulse turrets, and two Flak cannons.

Stations
Starfish-class heavy defense station
Image
The Starfish is a heavily armed station that is assigned to core and strategically important worlds of the Xen Alliance. It is armed with 12 blasters, 8 missile launchers, and four Particle guns. It also mounts four Aegis deflectors.

Anemone-class defense platform
Image
Anemone-class defense stations are lightly armoured and unmanned. They carry a variety of weaponry. A number of these platforms are deployed to all Xen worlds.

Anemone-L-class long range defense platform
Image
A long-range variant of the Anemone light defense station.

I suggest you keep the color scheme.
Sure other people have used it, but so far, your use of it has been the best.

Your ships are great too.

Just goes to show that great minds think alike. :D

Do you use a certain glow color, or just the black setting?

I use the default glow settings.

I'm working on an armed merchantman and the backstory at the moment.

Or simple minds seldom differ.

Besides, if you want to get picky, I think Kazuael used dark blue colour schemes first, way back when. :P

Your ships seem balanced... I think...
1 concern though
The Starfish
-Might want to move the Aegis(es) a little out if your looking for a balanced fleet.

BTW there a spelling mistake.

BTW there a spelling mistake.
Do I need to remind you about your first 20 posts?

Nice ships, you've used the color scheme to great effect. I like you naming 8) . The smaller ships are best.

While those ships look quite small, that is a pretty fleet.
It looks like you thought out it's composition because you seem to have got most specialisations and classes covered.
Do you plan on releasing these?
