Strideo's Miscellaneous Ships (NewMichigan&ValleyForge)

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Strideo's Miscellaneous Ships (NewMichigan&ValleyForge)

Post by Strideo »

Okay, I have a new ship to show off but I figure rather than making a new thread for a single ship I'll combine all of the random stuff I've done into one thread.

Purpose of this thread
This thread is mostly for random stuff I put together that doesn't currently fit into any current fleet or series that I'm working on.

Where you will see any updates
All updates will be posted at the top of the second post so that older stuff will be at the bottom of the second post.

There should be links if there is additional information for you to look at.

Links to old threads
While I have provided links to the old threads for some of these ships please don't bump old threads up unnecessarily. You can comment on the ships right here.

I like them, especialy the unamed one.

How about Cherax Destructor?

The Nyx looks like few well placed beamers could snap it into peices...

Cherax, a crayfish huh? It does look a little like a crayfish if the engine sections are the claws. :P

Cherax does sound cool but I don't know if I want to name it after a pint sized crustacean. >_<

Yeah, the Nyx does have its weak points that's for sure. :3

That last one is really good. And youve used green color scheme, which is rare.

lol

Actually I had no clue what a cherax was but when I see a word I don't understand I usually look it up. :P

The cherax destructor is also called the common yabby. Funny how one name sounds really intimidating and the other kind of silly. :D

You know, I think I will use Cherax Destructor just because it sounds cool and I can't think of anything better.

The names are cool, but I worry for the Nyx.

My allied ships use a green version of my fleet's color scheme.

Dude, I love those two ships at the top. They have a very distinct look to them. Definitely nice.

Thanks! I like the way their defectors look in action too. I might have to post an action shot of the Cherax Destructor so everyone can see. :)
