Back when BF first got it's sandbox mode, there were some custom ships included (hardcoded?) that were quite cool...most memorable is the Imperator with its horribly uber beamer broadsides.
Any chance these can be included in the next release (of BF or shipmaker)?

One guy made a really cool Prometheus class from Star Trek IIRC...

The ones I remember:

Imperator: similar shape to the Hecate, but with a long segmented spine with a beamer and point defence on each piece! 6 demeter launchers and 2 matricies made this horribly uber

Olympus: Looking like an upgraded Athena, 4 deflectors and a ton of broadside weaponry

Apocalypse: very angluar battleship, much forward facing gunnery

I've been trying to convert these old custom ships to the new .shp format but there's just been too many changes; the files are no longer compatible with the game.

...well, I do have a ship that according to official sources is called the "Imperator" class, or at least it's meant to look like one...
