VERY good ideas, I like them. Mind if I use the idea on my next few ships?

By all means, go ahead.

The same question as above. I can't resist the temptation of your weapon arrays and batteries and the seamless integration of weapon systems into ship hulls.

I have no problem with that, go ahead.

I think I'm gonna actually do these ideas...

Yeah...I understand I'm working slow as mollases on this Crusader visual upgrade, but I got some more stuff done with it, mainly the gun ports for the Equalizer Raildrivers.

I finally decided to work with custom colors on certain areas, dark blue of course. (Whoever said they couldn't take looking at more blue is going to kill me for this...)
The main thing is that I've started using my new weapon ports, the Pulsar Beam arrays are amazing in combat, they work better than I thought they would. :) I'm suprised that the Missile tubes came out pretty good too.

I have a favor to ask though, the Equalizers, they were pathetic on my other Crusader, they didn't really fit the definition of a "Super Railgun." What would be good for making a powerful Railgun that does a lot of damage through multiple sections without one-shot-killing the targeted ships? I'll make these foward beam cannons if need be, and ditch the Raildrivers.

Anyone else think it looks like some wicked heavy tug in this image?

As far as the rail guns, I don't know a whole lot about modding, but if you lower the overall damage and increase the damage per section, would that accomplish the effect or can that value be higher than the overall damage?

lol @ video.
Nice. As far as I know, lowering the damage value itself would lower the penetrating power.

Before insomnia kicks into full gear, I'm getting me some sleep, this is what I got so far, I'm about ready to work on the rest of the fore sections and the wings.

much less tug like  Im looking forward to the additions though, right now its rather even, front to back. Impressive how you can put so many ponted spots on your ships though, when I do it it looks like retarded skelator ship. I like the darker blue sections near the front of the ship, gives perception of angles and depth. Should definitely do that with the rest of the ship.

Yeah, the next section I'm going to work on (Part of the aft of the ship) will have it for sure.

Got a pretty significant amount of work done, it's starting to look more like the Crusader, the wing struts are now done, and I'll start on the rest of the wings when I get the front complete.

Messed around with the engines, they look a hell of a lot better than before.

Alright, I'm done messing with this for today, I seem to have made a decent area-of-effect torpedo using Plasma. (Yes, I make it harder than it should be  ) It has three launchers, and it takes about 30 of them to make a hole in the Crusader's hull (Which is a fairly small hole so it's not entirely uber-death in a can).

I'm liking how this is turning out, maybe I will remake my fleet. :)

What do you think, should I remove the center engine pod and make it a rear-facing beam cannon?

I really like how this is turning out, it looks like all you have left is to do a bit more work on the front and add the wings then it'll be done. I like the engine pod as it is, but if you want it to be a rear facing super laser, go ahead. As for the remaking of your fleet, I think you should do it, simply because this design looks even better then your old one, the thing is, it would probably take you months to finish. In the end, it's your choice (do it!), maybe you should make a poll.

It begins to remind me off of an Aralonian brick. The front simply induces that feeling.
