I like how you manage to use repetition without making the repetition look obvious. Great ship.

Bad Boy wrote:Nice looking so far. I agree with Arcalane though, I have no problem with most of the ships people complain about being too dark, but this one really is. Lighten the dark blue parts a bit and it would be better. Anyway, I look forward to seeing this baby finished, it almost inspires me to continue working on my satanist fleet just so I can make the huge ship that'll kick this one's ass.:P
It's unusual that people are saying that the colors are even darker now considering I actually make them noticably lighter compared to the other ships I made.

Did some more work on the front section, I believe it's done for now (Minus the armor plating). Now honestly I think arming it this early wasn't the best idea, but I wanted to see what I could do with it. The back is my next objective, so I can figure out exactly where I want the wings to start and end.

Status shot of the ship, I put it next to an Inquisitor for size comparison.
I'm not even half-way done and it almost doubles the length.
(I'm going to get flakked for the image size I bet...)

You're damn right you're gonna get flamed for the image sizes, seriously though, it wouldn't hurt to make them a bit smaller, my res is at 1680 by 1050 and I have to scroll a bit to see the whole pic, now imagine the agony for someone with 1024 by 768 or even worse 800 by 600.

Oh yes, the ship, sorry it completely slipped my mind. Anyway, the ship is awesome (looks a bit like a sword), and the reason it seemed/seems darker then your other ships is because its not finished and thus it didn't/doesn't have light blue sections on the outside to make it more visible. I can't wait to see this baby finished so hurry the hell up! :P

I'll keep that in mind, next time I'll show it from a distance instead of normal zoom.

Taking into consideration the size of the image (Blurry, but smaller now), the back is done for the most part, until I get armor surrounding it, I'm getting progress on the wings. I also removed the weapons save the ones on the side and on the bridge.

This ship is totally crazy. I don't know how you guys have the patience to make titans like these but whatever it is you gotta keep it up. NASA should hire some of you guys to design their spacecraft!

It looks a lot like the Inquisitor, which is awesome. How many pieces is it now?

See, this is why I told you to stop talking nonsense, in Commodore111's thread. This ship is coming along quite awesomely. It's already better than his, and I dare say I'm a fraction worried that you might steal my crown...

Me? Steal your crown? I don't have the knowledge to implement your trademark secrets / talents properly.

At this moment it stands at 835 sections.

Anna, THIS is why I'm one of the people here beside new members who don't like you. You say my ships are HORRIBLE when the ships of someone else who is probably equal to my skills are great and better than your's. Well, you know what, I'm sick of this! If there is no point in me being here because my ships are bad, I'm quitting! If you are thinking about me finishing the Solaris and ever working on it again, FORGET IT.

This is my last post on these forums. Goodbye.

I never once said your ship was horrible. I said aspects of it were horrible. Spoot's skills are not equal to yours, they're superior. If you can't take a little bit of of criticism, then I won't miss you much. Frankly, this ship is better than the Solaris, as it's better structured and put together, both internally and externally. And if you think I care about you finishing your ship, then you're dead wrong. All the criticism I gave to you was pointing out genuine flaws that you should improve upon.

Congrats, you're a whiny bitch, now take it out of this thread, which actually contains ships worth looking at.

Ho DAMN! That ship is made of win. Though I fear that my poor laptop won't be able to handle it x_x.
Also, by attacking the side thrusters, you'll pretty much knock it out of commission still, right?
