Well, I haven't commented here yet so I guess it's about time. Awesome ships Spoot Knight! They are a bit overpowered IMO but at least they are well balanced. I can't wait to see what the arsenal ship looks like when you are done.

Ever thought of making really teeny tiny fighters. (so i don't get the ugly blue dot i use the shrunk civilian core and keep shrinking all those parts and weapons so you have a small craft that can be above really basic at the same time. (sure is fun with little craft fighting around the large ones.)
I tried tiny ships, causes framerate problems. :?

There's some downloads for the new ships scattered around, but not a full download yet.

Worked on remaking the Paladin Battlecruiser, the hull is almost complete, just need to work on some kinks, particularly the nose, I'm gonna have to stare at the Inquisitor nose for a while cause I pulled that one off pretty well. This one's kind of messy.

Image

The hull's the most straight out of any other ship I remade so far.
About the engines...I think it looks pretty cool placed like that, even though it's r e d u n d a n t. I think I'll make the bow longer, looks a little stubby.

Can you guess which ship will be next?

Think I got it.

How's this?

Nice, the nose looks a lot better in the second ship, I think you should leave it like that, but shorten it, because right now it looks a bit long.

You sir, are correct! 8)

About the ship looking too long,

I just added more stuff around the back so it doesn't look super long, and it allows me to make the third side batteries for weapons.

Plus the length is good now, it's not as long as the Inquisitor but it's defenately longer than the Constitution, which I had a problem with, a Cruiser almost being as big as a Battlecruiser, you know...doesn't make too much sense.

That should do it for the hull, weapons and stats are next.

And now my big, broadsiding beastie is complete. :)

Image

Also tried that speed thing I mentioned before, it's extremely hard to make big ships move like I made the Curtana did.

Ok...it's not done, need to fix a massive layering error on a side battery.
Wow, that was there for three edits?
I hereby request a boot to the head from everybody for missing it.

Ok, as I've said before, the Constitution design pisses me off, because I can't find a design that satisfies me. I think I got it figured out now.

Image

All I want to know is if this looks better than the other Constitution.
OYE! Another bloody layering error! *Bashes head against table*

Yes it does look better.

I'm not really sure how well this is turning out, but I'll show it anyway to see what happens.

Some stuff I think I'll need to move around, but...no layering errors I can find this time.
