New Ships of Seraphim Industries - Updated 08/03/08

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Huh. My understanding so far was that compatibility of SM3 beta ships is not gruaranteed. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Why not use the 'updated on xx.xx.xx' like your previous thread, I find the parenthesis to be a little unprofessional.

But that explains why half the novelty weapons I made using SM3 beta refused to load...

What!? Seriously!?

That really, really, REALLY sucks.
I didn't even help make those ships (obviously) and I still feel pissed about it.

Wow.

The closest thing I can think of that's happened to me is this one time, I was playing some game (forgot which), made hours and hours of progress and forgot to save, and then I died.
That sucks. :\

Well, since th15 has fixed things, I'll start uploading ships now. The Deicide Superlaser doesn't really work properly, so I'll have to remake that at a later date. I'm not going to upload all the ships I've made right now, because there's a lot of them, but let's start with one that I made a while ago, but never posted the final version of.

The High Guard ship, created by Orbital Industries (A top-secret subsidiary of Seraphim Industries, responsible for creating some of their most powerful technology), the Glorious Heritage-class Super-Heavy Dreadnaught.

Download the Glorious Heritage.

Another ship, also created by Orbital Industries, and the newest Titan in the Seraphim Industries fleet, the Nrvnqsr-class Titan (Pronounced "Nero").

Download the Nrvnqsr.

Enjoy.

I'm really curious how you would build an asymmetrical ship.

He's made a few before, the Arcieud comes to mind. Though it's "small" in the meaning of the word that applies to Seraph. =P

I've done it before. I'm not sure how I'd go with larger ones, though. The urge to mirror is strong. Most of my asymmetrical ships haven't been much bigger than a Nagaya3.

The "Nero" (Sorry, whenever i try to type "Nrvnqsr" my brain reads it as "Nur-Vunk-Surr".) is beautiful. Of course, so are all your others, but this one... Wow. If I didn't know better I'd have thought you hacked the game to add more sections.

Those stretched missiles on the back are a little iffy, though.

With a new shipmaker, you can make more than 3-coloured ship!

I'm sure he already knows that.

However, seeing as how this High Guard fleet seems to have their color scheme decided on gray and red, I don't see any reason for them to make use of this.
Unless they make a giant rainbow-colored superweapon just to freak out their enemies.

Personally I find the most intriguing part of th custom section colors to be that, if yu did the entire ship in custom colors, you can preserve your color and fleet scheme for anyone who may download your ships, eliminating the whole dealie with after you download their ships, it looks nothing like the author intended it to, and may look like cack in your colors.

I bet that ship would be named "Angel Spectrum".

Hrm, how strange, I just had this crazy idea of how to do a "rainbow cannon".

Nrvnqsr = hotness.

I notice the sort of slanted-dish-shaped areas on the sides with the Repeater Guns. Those really look 3-dimentional, I love 'em.

Your Heritage ship has to be the best High-Gaurd style yet. It has so much depth and crazy details. Wings are beautiful.

Do you watch Star Trek? The High-Gaurd style is kind of Vulcan-Romulan-Klingon-esque. Warbirds?
