New Ships of Seraphim Industries - Updated 08/03/08

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

that said, your turreted ships are probably my favourites. nanaya remake ftw. this kinda builds on it, but at the same time doesn't. i dunno how to explain well.

The streched railguns ruin the ship.

Ahhh... that made my day.

Why the gap near the backward-facing guns, though?

That was caused by me accidently deleting those sections and not noticing it until I took the screenshot. In the actual download, the gap is fixed.

As to the comments of derekiv and ValesTii, I'm inclined to disagree, and think that the railguns look fine the way they are.

I like it. Nice colour scheme and brilliant shape but the guns are a bit ugly lol. Like those spikes on the front and personally i think the gaps look nice

INVISIBLE AEGIS

How far does it protect the back?

It doesn't protect the back at all. The Aegis shielding only covers directly to the front of the ship. The sides and rear are exposed and vulnerable.

Amazing! I love those railguns. Makes me think of Tau railguns from Warhammer 40k

'was wondering when you'd put those railgun turrets to use, Anna.

You should stick with the projectile weaponry. Your projectile weapons look fancier than beam weapons and they won't slow down framerate that much either.

But the ships themselves are very massive and nice. :)

I'm inclined to agree. I generally prefer the projectile weaponry. I just decided to put a huge beam array on this because I was stumped on what other weaponry to put on it, at the time.
