What do you mean by "bubble armor"? You mean like whipple/ablative armor?

Happy to be of assistance.

Whipple armor is the same as ablative armour. Basically, it's just a section, slightly peeking out from under the outer hull, that acts as an extra piece of armour, and protects the actual hull of the ship.

P.S: Lizzie's ships use it a lot, so look there.

Whipple shields are concepts used fictionally by people who try to be extremely realistic in sci-fi. It's a type of spacecraft shielding used on probes and such. It's similar to ablative armor, though ablative armor is several layers of material made to slough off (which would mainly be useful for energy weapons in realistic physics) as opposed to whipple shielding, which is designed for hypervelocity particle impacts, and is easily extended to projectiles in space combat, where it uses several layers of materials with gaps between them to stop projectiles by letting them vaporize when they hit.

In-game, there wouldn't really be any difference. Just another term.

I have no clue why I know something about everything, by the way.

no big thing.. and no big words either

Just a small, rather simple attacker.
The ShockBeam in the center only fires with an 5° arc - so it fires through opening in the front.

nope. didn't do anything about the damage.
the only thing is that I raised the beam duration from 20 to 30 points.
maybe i'll change the damage because it now that i think about it
the dmg might be a little low for a 5° weapon.

Well this is the Valkyrie.
Not quite satisfied yet cause i still want to change the little wing-like things in the front.
But i like it. And yeah.. many Aegis were necessary to build this.

Nice job. Although I'd consider tachyons instead of weasels.
