The Schkrin Extrasolar Navy

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Me likes the Aquatia. I just hope you have sufficient HP on those sections.

Very.... curvy. I like them, its an example of an area where gradient works.

actually no gradient, but the glow is also blue, give them the distinctive oscillating aura.

It's like a space jellyfish, but with guns and not only on its stingers. Very nice colors though, they work very nicely with the glow and the gradient.

Sweet, sweet ships.

At first, i thought Heliotropis' front is where the tentacles are, the two smallest appendages near the core look just like a mouth. Now that would be scary/creepy.

I have two crits, though: first, its definately overarmed compared to other Shkrin ships (im more concerned about the looks than power). Second, i think that aegis looks out of place.

yeah it is overarmed, its not really part of the fleet, it is but its not. I just wanted to make a monitor.

I love your color work and, although tendril ships usually make me wonder how they stay together when thrusters fire, these are so organically done they make me think that the whole thing kind of just moves, not as in a jellyfish, but as though propelling themselves through space was as simple as Superman flying - no thrusters, they just will it and it happens.

I'll try them out.
