Indeed, this is impressive guys.
Dear god, it takes a whole minute to turn around! Or more actually, typed several messages just waiting for it to line up for an attack run! I know its big but .10 turning?
Does she have a name?
*edit* Somethings boloxed with the point defense, it fires after my shots hit the ship...
My only other question/suggestion is what is she balanced to? An IVL beam destroyed her in a few shots even though the chainship is far larger...

It could be done, but it would take a whole lot of tumbling 'round with backstories. Also, is this balanced against the IVL/MRA standard?Raul wrote:hmm, we could throw this ship in the MRA conflict once its done. That would be both appropriate for the story(joint effort building by different factions) and a good way to weigh it against other ships of the line...What do you guys think?

Actually, I'm fairly sure that he's stated time and time again that it's impossible to decode .shp files for such purposes, and also impractical; not everyone wants their blueprints being distributed with their products.ChaosTheory wrote:The difference is that .sb3 is a "state-save" file, built into all GM games. It simply sweeps all the data from the game's current state into a bin and saves it. .shp files are different, they hold only the weapon/section strings plus parenting data, and are written like .txt files. th15 could easily write code into the shipmaker to read and write only .shp, but he chose not to. And as we know, GM is inefficient at almost everything except the actual making of the game.
When you sell someone an AK-47, you don't sell them precise and detailed instructions on how to manufacture their own, do you now?

It's not hard to do with parts you can buy, even in countries where the automatic version is illegal, but the point stands.Arcalane wrote:When you sell someone an AK-47, you don't sell them precise and detailed instructions on how to manufacture their own, do you now?
Some projects I hand out the .sb3s like cookies, others I like to keep the design private.

It' impossible to decode them because they don't have the right information. th15 *could* write blueprint instructions into the .shp files, but he hasn't. That would make load times on .shp files much longer, and require a rewrite of both programs. I advocate his choice. Why are you complaining?Arcalane wrote:Actually, I'm fairly sure that he's stated time and time again that it's impossible to decode .shp files for such purposes, and also impractical; not everyone wants their blueprints being distributed with their products.

I'm also not an arms dealer, but I'll bet the instructions are on the internet.
