I think that has been fixed in the SCP, i dunno, and Trashman I was talking about the ship on page 2.

lol, yeah I had to make the turning speed low. If you increase the turning speed too much the ends of the ship will just skip frames from moving too fast.

It looks kinda cool when you destroy a section near the middle on one side. An explosion rips down one side of the ship as all the parented sections blow up and they usually wind up destroying the sections on the other half.
