Mecgatachs glow like modules when they're ready to fire. I assume it's because they have such a huge reload time, it's helpful to know when you can fire it again.
You know, with the reload time, Megatachs might be better off as a module, so you can control when the barrage goes off...

Except that if they were a module, then you wouldn't be able to edit their damage, rate of fire, reload time, and all of that other stuff...
