Ulric Jorgensson's Fleet.

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Three more little skirmish ships made!!

The first was the Cutlass, I made this for quick shoot 'n' scoot attacks, but it never wants to play that way. It still works pretty well.

Image

The next was the Kukiri, and heavy attack craft made for a full on assault. It's good at what it does.

Image

And then there's this beauty, the Dart. I used a Small Core on this one and damn does it like to move. Lightly armed for a strike craft, it's only defenses are two blasters and two missile launchers, with a thruster for added speed.

A real wolf-packing vessel if I ever made one.

They all rock! But there is one thing that really completes the look of a fleet: A base tohouse them in. Bases aren't very popular, and docks and shipyards are almost nonexistant. Doing that would really distinguish you from the other fleets.

(Perhaps name the bases after sheilds?)

Ah, yes. The Shields, like the Rondel, Tower and Pavaise. I may make some bases like the Rondel, but that will be later.

Right now, three new ships to gander at. The first one is the last of my skirmish forces, the Jitte. I made it to be a state-of-the-art attack ship, armed with two Blasters, two Gatling Blasters and a Mega Beam. It's got two Deflectors and a Glueon Bolter, so it should be interesting to fight with.

Image

The next is another main line ship, roughly the same size as the Dagger and Galdius, but with carrier abilities with 6 Demeter's and high frepower. It's called the Bulova after the Indian war-axe.

Image

And the last one is a heavy cruiser like the Gladius. I called it the Glaive after the way I made it to fight, a hard striker.

As always, I want your opinions on these! Tell me what you think guys!

Thrusters don't actually add any speed, by the way. In fact, what happens is they reduce the ship's acceleration by either the power drain or power regeneration (I think it's the regen) when destroyed. ;)

Interesting looking designs though.

Is that 60 turning on the Glaive intentional?

Knowing him, it wasn't intentional. He still hasn't got the hang of the stats bit yet.

And Anarki ..... shut the hell up.

Anarki, we all make mistakes, and I'm still learning this system, so please, be nice, or I won't be  Yeah, the turning on the Glaive is supposed to be .60, like most of my other ships.

And I rather like the twin-dieterlings. Makes for some interesting moves. I like using them so I can for other ships to use up their dieterling moves, and then I lambaste them with fire from Glueon Bolters or other not-so accurate weaponry.

If I was laughing at Ulric I would have added something specifically targeting him, like "Noob!".

I was laughing at a ship at 60 turning...

I didn't even know it went that high ^.^

Imagine if it was a space station, and you were inside it, and the space station was on a planet.

Round and round and round...
