Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

hope the new backstory kills all rumors of not being tyranids. THEY AREN'T and never were!
With alittle work this could have been a very amusing oxymoron
I like what you did with the dragonfly's wings, but not the section use itself. Goes from curvy to blocky...There are several sections that might look better if you look through the various packs. Interesting idea would be to have the wings move back and forth a short distance very quickly and see if you can create the same optical illusion.

Oxymoron?
Anyways that was the plan but I just had a week of tests so you got whatever spare time I had. Week is over and vacation just started!
So work on the ships will contuine but I need help, What next and how?
ox⋅y⋅mo⋅ron

~~
ox·y·mo·ron
(ŏk'sē-môr'ŏn', -mōr'-)
n. pl. ox·y·mo·ra (-môr'ə, -mōr'ə) or ox·y·mo·rons
A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in "a deafening silence" and "a mournful optimist."
Except that now they have the backstory most similar to the creatures of "Hostile Waters"... And the turtle thing even looks like one, except frankly, far less appealing :S
Mainly coloration and section usage needs improving...
wow you guys... um said it was almost an oxymoron because he said he hoped the backstory had killed all rumors of them not being tyranids(meaning they are), then stated they aren't and never were.
Sorry for the confusion; I live for picking apart sentences . Glad you've got more plans for the ship.

One badass green space turtle coming up!
Now What should I build next;
Battleship?
Fighter?
Frigate?
Something in between?
If you got any idea just post it here because big ships in this style would be hard. Maybe the ship I posted in the inspirational ship thread?
I'd i have to agree with Mel in not liking this style... their not horrible (although i really don't like the shape of the turtle thingy), but as a matter of personal taste i don't like it. I'm more of a spiky alien ships kinda guy rather than smooth curvy alien ships.
Also, as mentioned before, please change the blockiness on the front of the bug fighter thingy.
On mules we find two legs behind
and two we find before.
We stand behind before we find
what those behind be for.
