Yah, like Venator said, looks a bit too fragile. I'd try and thicken out the wing struts a tad. Besides that...

*Ahem* In any case, I sorta disagree with you about the wing hangers. Believe that (if you thicken out the struts) they could look fine. Although it might be easier to fix up the wings without them, so... it's up to you.

I think you have to make it look like the sponsons are actually attached to the supports.
