WnW's fleet

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Does no one care that the previous post took pretty much as long to make as the Colossus? :/

Anyways, I finally got around to putting the weapons on this old leviathan:

I think I will standardize my own terminology and call super-battleships dreadnoughts from now on.

The Alien Deathbringer is the aliens' reply to the dreadnought class. Armed with two massive jaws with scatterbeams for teeth, anything that gets inside is swiftly destroyed. The aegised jaws also provide a decent level of protection from most weapons except accurate ones like railguns. The Deathbringer can easily take down any other dreadnought in a 1v1 battle.

Of course, it is not without its weaknesses. Destroying a large target will damage the ship, preventing it from killing battleship after battleship indefinitely. This is because its core is so close to resulting explosions. Also, it is ineffective against patrol craft like the Zelus due to its limited reach, or even faster destroyers like the Hestia. Nevertheless, this is a ship that captains should avoid at all costs.

The aliens also have another dreadnought, its Nagaya's third flagship! That thing actually fits with the others because while its firepower is low compared to my dreadnoughts, its HP and aegis deflectors make it an amazing tank.

O.O

That Deathbringer kicks so much ass for a stock balanced ship.

Its a dreadnought-class ship. Its on par with the Longinus, Escalante, Nagaya3, etc. Dreadnoughts are probably worth about 6 points based on the in-game point system I would think.

Hey! Most of them are awesome and well balanced too! Generic but work well.
