The ship's looking great now. I'm looking forward to seeing it finished and coloured.
Maybe everyone who contributed should chip in with an idea for a name, and then we can have a vote on what it can be called. Of course, you wouldn't be able to vote for the name you gave. Good idea?

Babel is my vote.
We should write each of our names really small on the hull once we are done, like they do on prototype vehicles...
Ok I need opinions here. In picture A I tried not to change anything structural except for removing forgotten pieces and smoothing edges. Added some turrets, effects, etc.
In picture B, I was struck by a minor dislike of the engine placement, so I fooled with things... Its still messy cuz I just groupmoved stuff so I'm just talking about the basic placement.
I don't care if people say the change is horrible, I'm more than happy to discard that version, but I figured I should check rather than submit something I'm not happy with, or drastically change someone's work without permission.

I say stick with the first one.

I agree about the engines, and I made the forward ones the way I did for weapons potential. CT, those aren't dementors, at least they don't fire. I was going for the turret look I saw in Talhydras's thread.LIES, it was sibers! Look closely and you will see they are the plasma charges already put there by someone else.
I like Consortium.
I agree about the blasters, but those pieces do make natural turrets.
@TBE, I will do my best, but my natural inclination is to make a ship streamlined, so does anyone care if I go with version A, but strip off the outer engines and work on a better thruster? May have to leave some of this to the next people cuz I'm not great with engines... If not I can leave them the way they are, finish a few other spots, and post it tonight for the next person.

Also;
What happened to mah damn waste packaging and ejection system?
Demeters look kinda naff as turrets, at least in this case. Any kind of covering-up-with-another-turret generally looks bad. Only exceptions I've found were beamers and railguns.
Secondly;
What is with that utterly useless aegis on the front of the engines? It doesn't seem to serve an aesthetic purpose since it's barely visible, nevermind a functional purpose.
