Another ship, start of a fleet.

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with Xynus. You should probably do your shipbuilding on your desktop, or fine-tune the colouring on the desktop after building on your laptop... or you could adjust the brightness on your laptop's screen to be less ridiculously bright, maybe.

I just realized I could set the gamma on the catalyst control center on my laptop. Silly me. :p
I'll just change the gamma until the Horizon looks the same on this as it does on my desktop.

@Anna Just note that I bothered to write "(just felt like throwing that in there)" Now let's just drop this so we don't ruin this thread.

I can't wait to see more ships Commondore.

Huh. Glows in such amounts can be good for Fraxy, but then you need to have Bright ships.
The design is good, yet no details can be seen.
Brighter, please.
and yes, MOAR SHIPS
I don't give a damn.

The fighter is a joke, right? Zoom-zoom, maybe?
Frigate looks best of all the other. Somewhat resembles Defender Fighter from HW1
I don't give a damn.

I think you might've gone off the deep end of 'too small' with that fighter.

I see a small spec that might be the fighter...
Im guessing its just too small to properly see?
Maybe in this one instance a non default zoom pic?

EDIT: Dang, ninja'd lol

EDIT2: Much easier to see btw.
Im not experienced enough to comment on things like section design/placement, but I do like them. :)

Nanobot attack? Could be a great Idea...
yet the AI is not that good and they'll go in a row.
I don't give a damn.

You mean those thingys you can't see?

Because cannon fodder is supposed to be hit, not avoid everything...
I don't know about you; But I generally don't store games in RAM.

Nice, I can actually see the ships, not just the glows now. They look good, the only thing that bothers me is the use of Arc's sawed off Torpedo Launchers, I think their shape clashes with the curvy, Mecha-section goodness of the ships' hulls.

Nice ships same as your last one, I have to agree with everyone here lighten up your ships seriously I don't like dark flying glowing blobs :? . Ok the ships by themselves have generally good shapes and glows. the Xoliths look fine, but the Varinth i can't really agree with the wings i think they need a bit of tweeking. The fighter? all i see is a rectangle shaped speck.
My sig is under attack by commie mods!

Umm, they're side-pods, not wings. There's a difference. Wings are there for lift. Sidepods are there for storage, energy production, or other miscellaneous stuff. In this case, they're for extra weapons systems.
