The new one makes the old one look like it was made of toothpicks pasted together with Elmers glue.
I asume it's keeping the faith by firing high-voltage lasers from those orbs, right?

As I said, *small* update. The only other difference is the struts: they're a little less fat.

I agree with Isu, the old struts looked better. Other than that the design appears flawless to me.

After a loooong series of tweaks and redesigns during a discussion on IRC, it has come to this:

-MUCH heavier sidepods
-Main Hull has gained extra armour
-Extra sensory and comms equipment on the sidepods
-Reduced it's beam emplacement count to 7 instead of 9

Final redesign, btw.

Say, do the glowy orbs and engines flicker at all? I'm not sure how hard that would be to do, but it sounds fun.

They don't flicker no. That's be kinda redundant. The exhaust sprites are animated anyways, so I so no reason, and the orbs aren't supposed to fade inor out... Holy nutjob, I gots idea. Stay tuned.
