The RFA's place in history is in an alternate universe. When planet Earth was demolished after a terrible and bloody war in 2064 AD, The Soviet Union (they still existed in that time) loaded up their space ships and set sail for planet Mars. But before they left, they set loose on of the most deadly viruses of the world, the Protchinka virus. It is 15 times as contagious as the flu, and once infected, death is sure to come after only 2 weeks. This measure made sure that earth would not be a problem when the Soviet Union was recreating itself on another planet.
Once the first space ships arrived at the new planet, they immediately started to make the planet livable. During the coming 200 years, the new Union made great technical progress and succeeded for the first time to get into hyperspace. Soon after hyper spacing was carried out, the first contact was made with new races. They soon proved to be hostile. The great Union now was at war. But they were not prepared for a high-tech war with a superior alien race. It didn't take long or the aliens reached the final headquarter of the Union. All the leaders were executed at once, and the planet was made into a slave planet. For the following 564 years there was relative peace on Mars. But the alien empire was collapsing. The army present at Mars started to rebel against the empire, and left the slaves unguarded. The slaves broke free, and fought against the rebel army, who was now fighting two enemy's(this took place in the year is 2665). The slaves managed to capture a lot of equipment from the rebels, because they thought they would have to defend against a new attack from the aliens. But it never came. The aliens had beaten themselves.
The slaves once again founded a new union. This time called the Order of the Soviet Mars Federation, it wasn't allowed to live long. After only 2 years it was overthrown by its own citizens, because the government was corrupt, and killed people whenever they wanted. After it was overthrown, chaos ruled the planet for more than 2 decades. That was until the great Zmardizof Baldimar proved to be the most competent and strongest warlord. He united all the warlords roaming the planet, and made sure the new found alliance lived in peace. This is not where the Red Fleet Alliance begins however. In the beginning, the space program of the Mars Warlords Alliance was fragile, and still unarmed. They simply didn't have the technology to arm their ships. It was lost in the chaos period. But when the Alliance was still in peace in the year 3000, they made a new crucial contact with a new race. This race, looking a lot like humans, came from only 1 galaxy away. They also happened to live on a red planet. These two races, made an alliance, and started to grow.
By this time, the alien race that had bothered the humans from almost the start, had rebuilt itself and once again tried to enslave the humans. But this time the humans fought back in space. The aliens weren't prepared. Their landing ships were unarmed. It was a slaughter. From this point on, the New Alliance started to call itself the Red Fleet Alliance. They are still at war with the aliens, but they just keep on growing. According to humans, the year we are now in, is 3264 AD.

Heavily modified frigate192, mounted with a troop transport launcher and a hangar shield. Weapons are removed, and 2 point defense rockets are added.

When the plasma gun locates a target, the front gun protector opens. When it fires, the rods need to be pushed out to cool the reactors. Sorry for bad gif, speed also isn't right.
Heavy destroyer, armed with 2 medium dual auto cannons and a single plasma launcher.


All ships have doodads in proportion to the destroyer, which you can see.
Should i continue this way? Or should i scrap them all? C&C is welcome :)

That last ship is great. The color scheme fits, it looks nice, and it's got sine basic animation to it. However, if you look closely at those two yellow generators, the fake aegis moves past the sections that are on top of them.

You are right, missed that! gonna fix it as soon as possible.
I had a nice retractable wing animation for the frigate, it made it look much better, but sadly it was just too bugged

I like these ships. They look very compact. They don't look like they should be underestimated. I love the color scheme, dude.

Changed fighter and frigate, added a bomber and fixed the destroyer's reactors.

yeah, i opened this thread thinking it was going to be another noobish "total bright red" kindof a deal, but the color scheme really rocks. good colors, good design... if anything, they have room for even more weapons, i know it sounds crazy. Overall 8.5/10 from me. :D

Wow I liek the fighters and the last ship too 8.9-10 Hey maybe you could make an allied fleet and make an encounter it could be like Red alert 4 or something

And does it end at destroyer? what about a cruiser, battleship and a flagship(dreadnought) too.....No hurry I anticipate updates.

Note: The Tac nuke and auto artillery suit communists. You should know Commies love nukes. Stick them on any future ships

All higher classes coming.. but i don't have much time to work on it lately :( .
I know nukes etc are the soviet thingy, but i think fitting those on a destroyer isn't right :P

And update: added 1st version of story, needs some work i guess.

And i know that they could carry more guns, but i just don't like that. I don't think if we make a spaceship, we put more weapons on the hull then that would make sense to me

I love the colour scheme you got going for your ships!
The overall shape and design of your ships is nicely done, and your use of doodads is excelent.
