My first attempt at ship building!
Since my friend has gotten me hooked on BSF, I have been tinkering alot with the ship builder. I have been reading the forums alot and thought I might show you guys my first Fan-build. It's the Archangel from Gundam Seed

You have all those features of an Archangel on it, but it seems that the proportion is quite messy. And you can use more colours to show the depthings and making it look more 3D.

Thanks guys, I am working on getting the proportions right but it is hard doing it from the photos I have. After all my snooping I couldn't find a top down view lol
Also, I am trying to get the two megabeams tweaked to look like the guns on the ship in the series (red with like a white/blue outline) any tips/hints?

Perhaps you can draw your own beam sprite, and you may add a tesla overlay on the beam so it may look like that beam cannon in SEED.

I think its a good job, though the proportions seem slightly off.

The blue seems a bit off, and the nose is a bit overstreched, but over all good ship

Not a bad structure but colors need a good work over, the whites/grey are okay but orange clashes with green and blue. Also, partially obscue your modules and weapons with 'W' key to give it a better perception of depth. Finally, avoid over-strecthing/shrinking your sections, if you need to hit the I/K keys more than five times, than you should use multiple smaller sections instead.
