A Newbie's Ships

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

I've heard that they could look a bit weird, so I'm going to remove them and instead replace them with several smaller aegised parts. I'm definitely going to make the ship longer or thinner depending on any changes I might make to it.
The direction of the turrets really doesn't matter because they all can turn any direction anyway, since their firing arc is set to 180.
And they may be lightly armed compared to your Cybran juggernaut (nice ship by the way), but they work fine against stock ships and others of their own fleet.
Thanks for the comments, bro.

Much improved, I like your use of colors and rounded shapes.

The blocky one's still kinda ugly... But yes, you're changing that.

Rigged? Of course not! No such thing until you see the Iskander!

I don't agree with the way you hid your cores on your ships. anyone with an IQ near 100 who has played this game can find them and you are just painting an even bigger target on your cores because of it.

Anyone with any sort of IQ could easily find the location of a ship's core simply by selecting the ship and looking at the ring.

Well, I was told by my brother that the blue dot on cores is unsightly on ships, so I try to hide it a bit.

This ship looks like a flying junk pile. and color would be nice. But for a relative newbie it is ok and the parenting is solid

You obviously don't understand how things work around here, Kurusunami, you smartass fuck. When people post ships on this forum, they are asking for feedback. That means that valid criticism is allowed, and blowhard statements like "Let's see you do better. On your first time." are completely worthless.

Congratulations, you've earned yourself a spot on my "people to watch intently, waiting for them to slip up" list!

Your improved ships look good with the new colours, and with the exception of the glowing seciton 26's they're still pretty decent for beginner ships.

As for your larger ship the parenting looks well done. Ill wait till the ship is finished till i say anything else.

I'm going to be completely restarting the fleet, with a larger scale and higher numbers. Mods, if you could lock and delete this topic?...

Ehh, maybe you can just delete/move the old fleet from your first post?
Just put the old fleet stuff somewhere (like below the new one) so people can see it too.

BTW, good ships. :P
