Eve Online Ships

Hi all, these are my first attempts at making ships. They are based on the "Eve Online" Game.

I have made a Megathron and a Raven.

Let me know what you think, Critique welcome.

You know most people will like to have pictures first before actually commenting on anything. Just a heads up for next time.

As for the ships:

I downloaded the Megathron and I have to say its bad, not horrendous/needs to be burned with flame/so bad it burns your eyes like other people's ships, but still pretty bad.

First off the weapons look like they have just been thrown in arbitrarily and with no thought.
Second, you need to improve on your section usage. Some sections fit better with each other than others, so experiment.
Third, the ship looks incomplete. Seriously when I opened this ship I thought 'where is the engine block'
Fourth, you need color. It does wonders with ships and also allows you to create illusions of depth.

If you don't know how to add color, edit weapon/modules or resizing and what not, consult the handy help file/manual by pressing F1.
I also suggest consulting the guides posted as stickies in this forum.

You can improve so work on it.

edit: Since this is a fanship consult AD's guide to fanship building. I say this now before he comes in here and slaps you silly.

To take a screenshot, press f9 either in-game or in the shipmaker and then upload it through photobucket or something. Then paste the image link here.

I agree with Darkship here. But if these ships are your first, they aren't half bad.
