You have achieved a sense of depth by making the center of the ship stand out more than the outlining extremities through clever use of shading.

You deserve praise for that on top of the rest of the comments in this thread. Keep it up.

And yes, you should think about renaming the corvette/frigate/destroyer labels on your ships due to discrepancies of size.

Excellent use of the 26s, best I've seen for them in a small ship. The ship overall could be a tad thicker, and maybe add some antennas or something, not quite sure what its missing.

Pretty good, but the areas past the central aegis bit seem to lack a center-line piece. If so, only bad things can happen

Otherwise, not too shabby, the section 26's are really well placed.

consider changing the aegised core into a circular section rather then a squarish one

Primary colour-based schemes? Blaah. Try metal colours with faction highlights.

What? Just to let you know, that's a default font that comes with photoshop.

Somehow I doubt that. The font is called Herculanum, created by Adrian Frutiger and is a copyrighted, pay-for-use font.

So unless photoshop included it for some reason I'm still doubtful of a coincidence

It was in the Photoshop fonts at my school. Besides which, you aren't providing any useful C&C on my new ships. So, in other words:

Anyhow, on the ship, I agree with Arc on the colours. Otherwise, the core is pretty huge for the ship's size.

Mmk. I tried, and most likely epicfailed.

First off, someone on IRC talked about remaking the peitho formation.

Then, i tinkered with making stock ships, and combined the sections and weapons of the Hestia and Cronus, with the deflector system of the Peitho. Yes, i know it looks like a small santa.

Now, for my attempt with new colors. And an entirely new building style that most likely blows.

In the last pic, one of the ships was cut off, and my non-internet computer broke so i can't load it up. It'll be a while before i get to make some new ships.
