OR you could just an image editor! There's an option that sais "crop picture"! Isn't that convenient? Any image editing program can do such things, and most hosting sites have one.

Also Hullshot of the Vanguard Heavy Cruiser revamp, i really like this one for some reason. Made to look resilient but speedy, like and Heavy Cruiser should be!

The engines on the big ship sorta bug me because of how thin the engine struts are, but dunno.

Overall a good fleet design, you have carried over similar design philosophies and they 'gel' together.

Posting download as soon as i finish a carrier for the Terran fleet.

Updated 1st page with current completed ships. (Will rework it with more detail when i have more time.)

Also, as the ships got bigger and more varied, i needed bigger and more varied pirates to kill with them!

very good but i don't like the monsters (dunno its name because i flicked throught the pages to see the ships) back engines. they look.... odd fil in the gaps and i think it will be better

Yeah, ive fixed that, it just wasnt worth putting up another picture for, when i release a download it will be filled out.

Just a little bump to say that the backstory has begun to be laid down in the databank. Link in first post. Also the carrier is very near to completion so look out for a download soon.

these ships look fantastic man, and i laughed at the cute little spikey pirate ships you designed to fight your own ships.

the idea of the offset barrier shields is particularly interesting, i would like to see it work in battle thats for sure!

Theres only the Terrans .shp files in there for now. If wanted i can upload the pirates and the Sb3s on request.

Due to some craziness, you cannot load the ships directly into BSF from the .zip. Extract them into your BSF folder and they should work fine.

could you please upload pirates too? if the pirates were balanced to fight your ships, then it would be good idea to include them, as they look cool too lol

Not sure if you know already but, the largest pirate ship has a layering error that makes the back look pretty ugly.

Other than that, good job. :D

Ill release pirates just as soon as i get the Terran - Pirate balance worked out. At the moment its no contest.

i wonder if you have noticed that your sentinel destroyers totally own everything? their light accellerator cannons are far too powerful mate

by powerful, i mean against eachother and agaist the light cruisers, these destroyers dominate! XD

Really? Ill take a look tonight while im working out the pirate balance. They shouldnt be beating the Light Cruiser!

well, basically each volley from the destroyers totally blows the crap out of the light cruiser, so it can't do anything. but im talking 2v1 not 1v1.. havnt done 1v1 so i am guessing the light cruiser would win.

still, the basic cannons do far too much damage, im sure toning it down a little bit would result in slightly longer battles (more chance for tactics, not just who-shoots-first-wins)
