Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

hehe
I should test this weapon out.
It'll basically rip a Memento Mori in half. Anything with a ton of power and enough range on its weapons (like your Crusader or Anna's Tatari) will usually take out the weapon before it fires. Obviously, it also easily crushes anything stock (it is kind of cool to watch it rip through a row of Nagaya 3s though :P).

well, I widened out the spikes a bit, but I'm not sure if it helps much. I'll have to see if I can add anything to the side to help that out, but without compromising the overall look of the ship.

I also added an extra circular section at the end of the spikes so that the aegises aren't so easy to snipe off. I gave those sections extra hp so that the cannon doesn't get disabled so quickly.

Nice ship! I have to agree that all the beam megaweapons are being over-done. As for the spikes, I think if you made the back a bit curvier, around the engines and the main-core-thing, it would probably be less blocky and the spikes wouldn't contrast so much.

Anyways, can't wait to try her out!

Try stacking another aegis on top of both of the new little circles, and have them aegis the circles, to keep them from being sniper off period. It really wouldn't make the ship much harder to kill, since you can easily pierce part of the claw to destroy it anyways.

Now this looks quite imposing. Cool design, Gives a "Superweapons ship" feeling. I can agree tht super beam weapons might be a bit overdone, but aslong as they are included on a nice slow (optional) big ship.

I can see that. Maybe if I curve it up from the straight part to the edge of the core area. hmm... I'll mess around with it and see what I get.

I might just do that. I'll probably shrink the circles though, so that I don't have big old glowing things on the end of the spikes. I'll give it a try and see how it looks.

thanks, that's what I was aiming for :)

I still think its ugly, I'd make the claws blocky.

that's your opinoin. if it's good enough to ispire people (like me), then it's awsome enough to NOT be ugly.

P.S. maybe you should explain in enough detail that it goes into a txt download how those weapons work, exactly, with every stat of every... pulsar?... listed. still, i must say, it's great!

The ship has its good parts, but there is still too large a transition from the center, to the stocky body, to the curved arms.
