Sran Industries (Updated 11/13/07!)

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

The 'smallest' ships in this fleet dwarf my new largest. It's fun to watch a Zelus sized ship destroy your patrol craft 1 on 1.
Look Up

50% of people will have scrolled up
25% will have looked at their ceiling
The last 25% can now feel smug because everyone else has taken orders from a little sig box.

J'ACCUSE.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY PRINZ EUGEN.

If you're going to rip it off, at least have the heart to copy the pent beamer array hidden by the oversized tachyon repeater. And do something better than just resizing the aft communications "wings". I leave such horrible, horrible work so that they are easily recognised.

YOU COULD HAVE ASKED and I would have said no, but hey.
Haha.
Sorry!

But I really liked your ship designs. It inspired me.
I was gonna give credit, but I didn't know your name.
Now I do.

I built this up from scratch, but the overall design was influenced by you.

For being built from scratch, it's dangerously close to my original design. Did you really come up with the layering and structure of the multipart wings on the back yourself?

It's not that hard to scroll down the page a bit and see who designed them originally, you know. I'm not even on page 2 yet.

It's really annoying because people start saying it's your original design and I get no credit. >_>

Yeah I saw a screenshot of your ships, and I was like hey, that's a cool design.

I gave you the credit for the inspiration.

I'd prefer it if you removed the ship in general. But whatever.

You're incredibly arrogant, aren't you? He didn't just copy-paste your Prinz Eugen. He created it completely from scratch, which is fairly easy to notice if you download the .sb2 file, 'cause there are more than a few subtle differences. And there's one really big difference. The Lorn Dreadnaught is huge compared to your ship.

Acting all "boo-hoo, your ship has the same shape as one of mine. Instead of being flattered that you liked my design enough to mimic it, I'm going to throw a tantrum" just makes you look incredibly childish.

I have a solution:

How about you plagiarize the living hell out of the following?

Honestly, I'd be flattered for a month of Sundays someone copied any of my designs!

You know, the firebird came out AFTER Seraphim released his Andaro and related craft... So...

That and would you like to call the famous artists of the Renaissance copy-cats? They copied the style of Greek and Roman artists, would you like to denounce them?

I have three new ship types set in the same Universe, inspired by Halo and the Honorverse. They even have sidewalls.

Image
The Defiant class destroyers are the smallest class ship fielded by the Fleet. These smalls ships are not meant to survive in the wall of battle, but to escort commerce and skirmish enemy ships.

Image
The Warlord class battlecruisers are powerful and heavily armored combatants.

Image
The Hyperion class Superdreadnaughts are the mightest ships in space. These massive juggernaughts are unstoppable by anything less than another Superdreadnaught.

And another ship

The smallest class of ship in the Lorn navy.

The Honorverse inspired ships are all balanced against each other; it takes about 6-10 CA to take down an SD, 6-10 DD to take down a CA, and 36-60 DD's to take down an SD.

Hahhaha

Just something to test you on ^.^

You got it pretty much right with the first one, I guess =P

How about...

One I've always wanted:

1) With the Missile, make it so that the sprite doesn't move, but can still fire at any ship within range (by using the missile's homing device). I.e.

Pod isn't facing in direction of enemy. Pod fires head on in direction that it is facing. Missile zooms towards target.

2) With the Pulsar, same effect that it has now except the bullets should be released in the direction opposite of the opponent before flying towards it.
