Addition: IVL Newsfeeds have confirmed the destruction of at least one Athena class carrier by a Vox Vocis class vessel. Following battle with it's Zeus escort resulted in a full retreat by Vilushan forces. IVL response to this intrusion reamins unclear.

Addition: IVL Newsfeeds have transmitted a report about the destruction of a Zeus class Dreadnought by a refitted Vox Vocis. How the Vilushan Empire was able to install a more powerful main weapon so quickly reamins unclear, and IVL Empress Elizabeth I has yet to react on these assaults.

-In reaction to these reports. Empress of the IVL, Elizabeth A. Brewster had only this response.

"Any further destruction of IVL military war materials and property will be an act of war, I suggest to the leadership of the Vilushan empire cease any and all hostilities before I am forced to order drastic actions. Those of which will not stop with the mere destruction of their military."

Following this. The IVL warfleet had gone on full alert and their newest ship, the "Defiant" which is a Hades class flagship, has moved into the area where the Zeus class "Antegra" was destroyed.

it almost matches the curves enough to look good as the command bridge or something, but if its really on top it would be easy to hit I would think. In any case, nice continuation of your original design in the destroyer class.

Vilushan Imperial Press has released official footage of the new warship. Officially designated the Spiritus class Battlecruiser, this ship carries enough firepower to engage most of it's counterparts toe to toe.

In addition, Emperor Ravadan Caen has officially reacted upon Empress Elizabeth A. Brewster:

Ravadan Caen, in an official letter, wrote: It is not our intent to provoke all-out war with the IVL, or any other race. The destroyed vessels had been thoroughly scanned and deemed infected by the Plague, making them legal targets as per Galactic Senate decree 3154; pargraph 9. The IVL ship movements so close to our borders, however, will not be taken lightly. If any IVL vessel crosses our borders, we will react with the necessary force, and drive whatever intruder out of our territory. We will also continue to expand our fleet and ground forces, not for war, but for the increasing security and stability of the Vilushan Sovereign Empire.

Upon reading this letter from the Sovereign of the Vilushan Empire, the Empress of the IVL had this to say.

E.A.B, an official response wrote:And you took it upon yourself to kill my men and destroy millions of credits worth of military hardware because YOU suspected my men were infected? Without notifying me till just NOW, after their all dead? Last time I checked, taking care of such internal problems was up to the leader of the country with the issues mentioned, not the suspecter of another Sovereign. You took it upon yourself to invade MY space and to kill MY men. It would do you well to notify me of such issues from now on and let ME take care of them.

After this statement, the empress ordered the revelation of classified photos, taken earlier this afternoon from an engagement between the IVL task force sent to kill the Vilushan intruders.

As you can see the IVL warfleet tore into the Vilushan intruding force, the time was approximately 10 minutes. The IVL fleet used FTL impeder devices to prevent the Vilushan forces from retreating. The Vilushan force consisted of 3 ships in total. All 3 were destroyed while not a single IVL warship was downed. However both of the IVL destroyers were damaged considerably and suffered over 200 dead/injured.

As you can see, the new IVL flagship, the "Hades" class went through it's first trail by fire in this battle, and served admirably.

- Furthermore the IVL head of affairs has declared a empire-wide scanning of the population to determine if the IVL populous has been infected anywhere. The bodies of the crew of the two ships that were destroyed are also being collected for testing. If no trace of this 'plague' is actually found it could mean war between the two empires.
