I noticed something interesting about your Galaxy...I set it to full speed towards 2 alien dreadnoughts, then middle-click cored it.

That's a much better Defiant than mine, but what's with the mining beam in the nose? The Defiant isn't supposed to have a weapon mounted in her deflector array...

EDIT: Guess what, guys? I had a crack at the Oberth...

No, really!

For anyone who doesn't know, the Oberth class is a science vessel originally incarnated as the USS Grissom in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.

Awesome! The destruction command needs to be part of the main game.:) All hands, abandon ship!

ROFLMAOALST oh my... LOL It's funny because I don't think you're joking. Don't feel bad, you're providing inspiration and motivation to my pseudo-one-upmanship senses.

It fired a phaser from the white circle on the nose at least once, so I decided to add a mining beam there, I also put one over the bridge because a phaser fired from up there at least once too. What I might do though is make it so the top beam can't fire where the forward beam does. Keep in mind, even you put in that rear torpedo tube even though it fired maybe once.:)

Cool, I don't think any one-upmanship is really needed hear, although I would make the torpedo arc smaller and the beam arcs wider by double, since I take it you're going with MOV era phaser banks. Those phaser banks can actually depress quite a bit. I like it's acceleration rate.

I'm actually considering lowering the speed and possibly acceleration of my Starfleet ships, they have difficulty in keeping up with target ships and small movements. If I lower those two stats it might help them. I'm also going to reduce the number of deflectors on the Intrepid to one and the Defiant to two, they're too hard to kill with the numbers they have now.

Hmm, well something must have gone wrong with the download becuase I tried downloading it again just now and got it working.

I think it's pretty good except for the nacelles. Seems those are the hardest thing to do with the Shipmaker, 'ey?
