The Fleur De Lys was the first time I made curves like that on a ship too.

Ooooh, black outlining! Nice!

Nice backstory, and i'm especially liking the red engine parts. Well done. Although I must say that this kind of shape is starting to get a bit boring, you're using it in a lot of your ships.

Thanks. I'll be the first to admit that its shape is rather conventional. I'll have to try and come up with something more original on the next large ship I work on.

The first thing I thought of there was 'Aralonian Brick'.

Nonetheless, it is a pretty ship. Nice to look at, and I definitely like the green beamers. Good job, man.

As it started to come together I thought it had a slight Aralonian look to it as well. I used a lot of the same shapes he used to play with I think except this ship has a two engine section rear instead of a single stern.

I do like the red glowy sections too. They're supposed to be a heat radiation system for engine cooling or something.

The red parts or the blue parts? The red parts are Section 09s under a bunch of Section 22s stacked to look like a bunch of lines and dark red aegis on the Section 09s.

I like the cooling but there is somthing rather bland about the shape. I think the front needs somthing more.

Please don't mke the ultimate tag team kill my ships....

The smaller one, i think, needs some octagonal wings coming out of the main octagon to tie the two ships together.

Otherwise they are just two slightly similar green ships.

Hmmm, well the smaller one (The Valley Forge) pretty much is one one of the octagon shaped wings from the the larger ship. Since those are the engines I don't know why they would put smaller octagons on the sides of the Valley Forge unless they where weapons hard points. Also I wanted them to be tied together by their looks but not in a gimmicky way (like: "We are the fleet of ships with octagon wings!").

Ok widen it then so there is more living space onboard.

If its just an engine then the crew must be dieing of heat exhaustion, widen it and add some cool cooling perhaps?

or you could make it asymetric with a kinda linving pod of one side, like on the millenion falcon.
