Strideo's Miscellaneous Ships (NewMichigan&ValleyForge)

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

The Nyx Super Dreadnought needs some sort of central bulge or something. Without one, it looks like a pontoon without something in the middle. Your ships have a good design to them, it is just the Nyx that looks weird IMO.
No, wait, go back! Why are there six pedals if there are only four directions?

The Battlereaver reminds me vaguely of one of the Reaver hulks in Serenity, vaguely being the operative word.

Perhaps recolour the deflectors? The gold on gray is a bit out of place.

Otherwise, nice looking ships.

I like that Nyx Destroyer (think thats the name), reminds me slightly of those Cloud City fighters on Star Wars.
Even though it has been mentioned several times before, it still looks individual and pretty damned good.

Your ship's weapon systems look very well thought out and quite appealing :).
Might have to use your colour scheme, my current one looks pretty kack.

The deflectors are supposed to be orange-ish to sort of match the orange hull parts. Maybe it doesn't come off so well huh?

I wanted to use the word "battle" in the name of the ship like Battlestar, Battledragon, or Battlestrider. I settled on reaver. Any resemblance to ships from Serenity are purely coincidental. Good movie though! :D Even better series unfinished as it was. T_T

It's the pontoon thing! :P

Thanks for the compliments!

I assume it isn't all too easy to blow it in half? Surely you have a trick up your sleeve to stop the dreadnaught becoming a couple of dreadlets?

If you have a strong enough ship to exploit its weakness then it's as simple as that.

I did make a Nyx Super Dreadnought II that is slightly stronger.

I suppose you could spam alot of small plates in front of it to Railgun proof it a little.
I take it you improved the section health there, +100 HP is always a good armour plate!

The sections in front of the core do have a little HP boost but nothing ridiculous. :3
