Gundam Ships (Universal Century only) + some BfG Ships

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Gundam Ships (Universal Century only) + some BfG Ships

Post by Zeigfryd »

Hey posters!

This is my first post and I'd like to add some ships along with it, you nerds.

They are from Gundam, and they only deal with Universal Century.
If you guys like my creations and/or have requests, I'd love to get to it.

I'd like to add that I'm going to be doing a lot of Universal Century ships even if they aren't requested so requesting a certain ship will mean it being in higher priority than the rest!

I also made a Retribution Class Ship from Battlefleet gothic if you guys want to take a gander!

I'll also put up the download link

The Federation Magellan (warning: somehow the ship jumps off the map after a ship explodes in close proximity to it, don't know why, if you do please tell!)

Nice ships! And easy with the language, at least try to make it look formal.

Anyways, those are some nice ships. Especially for a first try.

Ha ha, sorry, it's more like a reflex because in my circle of friends we use nerd as a common derogatory term. So it just stlips out.

The ball is far too awesome to be rendered into BSF.

(Seriously, I kick enormous amounts of ass with it in Fed vs Zeon.)

Also I demand a Pegasus class! Give me my White Base!

EDIT: I'm seeing a large amount of mirroring errors here.

None of them resemble their Gundam counterparts. For one, the Ball had an artillery piece, not a flak cannon. The Salamis and the Magellan look like generic bricks. The Gwazine is a giant trapezoid. You have the widths on the Musai backwards - the aft pods are wider than the fore Komusai launch bay.

I declare these Gundam vessels epic fail. Please don't make a Pegasus-class. I'd cry.

Ok for the sake of not wanting to be totally trashed on my first attempt at ships, and to prove my devotion to Gundam,

The RB-79K Ball Type K was armed with 2 180mm cannons. You must be thinking of the classic, usually seen ball, the RB 79, which was armed with a single 180mm cannon.

And besides, I didn't want to put a missile launcher on it cause I wanted it to shoot many times, cause that's what it's basically only good for, to protect my ships. I actually took the design for the weapons from mainly the 08th ms team series, with the ball rapidly shooting.

The salamis and the Magellan look like generic bricks because they actually do look like generic bricks, made to resemble the warships of the 20th century.

My gwanzine design was only taken from 2 pictures, one from it's front left quadrant and one from the rear. I wasn't too sure what it looked like so I ball parked the engines and weapon placement on the top.

And the musai, ya you're right, I'll have to fix that soon.

I'm still going to make gundam ships, and if they're a bit inaccurate, tell me so I can fix them.

I also took some creative chance and changed some stuff up on the ships to make them more interesting, so that might also be the problem.

Edit:

Thanks for the welcome and support guys! Appreciate it.

I'll get to work on the white base soon

I think you did a really good job! These ships look really nice. I also LOVE the Ball, as I am good with it in Gundam Battle Assault, he he he. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to your White Base.
