A taste of things to come.
You thought Lizzie returned empty handed? Noooooo! I've been busy.
Ignore the red wings on the one PTboat. Those have been fixed.
Fleet is finished construction-wise. But I need to playtest and fix various issues with the ships. Also need to make other stuff like stations and freighters.
Theres also a flagship for this fleet that has been made but I shall reveal that later.

I was thinking of saying something sarcastic here...Lizzie wrote:You thought Lizzie returned empty handed? Noooooo! I've been busy.
But nice work, anyway. Those ships look GREAT.
GONE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Do that and you give me proper cause to splatter you on the wall.Master Chief wrote:I was thinking of saying something sarcastic here..Lizzie wrote:You thought Lizzie returned empty handed? Noooooo! I've been busy.
Anyway:
Just wait till you see them in combat. I didn't spare on the weapon's coloring either. But nice work, anyway. Those ships look GREAT.
Just to note. Some of the Doodads are screwed up a bit. Theres a bug with the noise Doodad that I reported to Sean as of yesterday afternoon.

Love the depth effects on the largest ones. The mediums look like mutated Hestias, Sinopes and Oenomes. The tiny ones are funny.
Not to mention that the center top one, with the rows of blasters, looks a whole lot like a few ships in my fleet . . .
You going to give us a DL?

Welcome back!
Anyways, onto the ships.
They're all good. Interesting new style, and there appears to be hints of your old style.
I think the big one looks like a Super Hecate.
That's not a bad thing; Don't take offense.
I like them. I'd say they looked vaguely stock-balanced but knowing you that's way out of the equation.
That's a compliment; Don't kill me.
I like the colors, as well as the overall designs, especially on the biggest one and the ones next to it. Nothing looks out of place, except maybe the stretched missile launchers, but only slightly.

They're quite nice, but I'm not really fond of'em. To be blunt, som of those look like stock-ship ripoffs. The middle ones look like Hestias, and the biggest one, yes, well...
Yet again, not bad, but I would have expected a bit more originality from you.
I also refrain from adding childish notes to this post.

Not exactly my cup of tea, but I do like the podded/modular designs. They look like ships designed to have sections quickly replaced in battle instead of relying on a huge WALL OF ARMOR the way my ships have evolved.
Hmm, there's a wishlist-thread post: A Module that fabs sections, weapons, and modules for damaged ships
