Minotaur Fleet! Now with Bulldog Frigate and Mad Cow Cutter!

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

New armament for the Ship of the Line: RAILGUNS. This is actually the second iteration. Two Rail types: Fast-firing high-damage on flanks, slow-firing HYUOOGE-DAMAGE spinal railguns.

Image

First iteration. All Slow-firing high-damage rails.

Image

Air Defense Destroyer. Loaded full of Laser Cannons and extra Impeders; built from the Fleet Tender hull. Designed to put up a cubic shitload of AA fire and quick.

Image

Six Minotaurs after killing something big, nasty, and ex-Aralonian. If you look carefully, you'll see a few areas of missing ablative and modules/weapons.

EDIT!

Image

Heavy Railgun Destroyer. Replaced Superlaser with two enormous Railguns, the logical conclusion of the Minotaur Rearmament Project.

Here here!

They're some really nice looking ships, if insanely powerful.

They actually have something that most Star Destroyers lack... they look less regal/imperial and more cold or predatory. Closest I can think of from the EU is the Nebula.

Minotaur.
Bulldog.

Am I an awesome detective, or is it just a coincidence?
Either way, I've always admired your ability to make ridiculously overpowered (pfft, yeah right.) and overgunned (see previous. "There is no 'overkill'...") ships that still look sleek and stylish, or at the very least "not ugly"... Somehow, despite the breathtaking amount of guns in such a small area, it doesn't look cluttered. The fact that it appears to be inspired by the Star Destroyer only makes it better. :P

And I love the green outline.

Was gonna comment on this way earlier but I'm a lurker and I didn't feel like speaking up until now. :P

Uh . . . no names spring to mind, but an armament of Drivers does.

Please, let that be sarcasm. Anything else and I'm pretty sure you'll get your head chewed off.

Heh, a little flying wedge of doom. :D How about you keep with the mythological theme you have going with Minotaur. How about Akantha?

AKANTHA (Ακανθα)
Origin: Greek Mythology
Gender: Feminine
Pronounced: a-KAN-tha (English)
Akantha meant "thorn, prickle". In Greek legend she was a nymph loved by Apollo.

<snip overarmed monstrosity>

Thanks. :D
You cruel, spiteful bastard !

I like the Bulldog, maybe not the Cutter so much; I think your build style is better suited to the larger ships.
