Mmmmmkay, in the world of REALLY CHEAP TRICKS, I give you the Disable Gun.

A frosch with 10000 duration . . . will basically leave the enemy open for attack and screw their modules, rendering a uberwankship totally useless agaisnt a Hestia.

Maybe a few Hestias, actually . . .

I wonder if it would be possible to have negative or decimal values for repeaters...

How about a frosch gun that only disables for 30 frames, but takes only 1% energy to fire? That way the player would have to keep clicking really quickly to keep a ship disabled, and that would keep you from micro-managing your other ships.

You mean, so it would start out fast, then slow down and stop?

Of course, 30 frames is frequently a few seconds when you start bringing in modded ships...

. . . uh,

1) take pulsar, strecth in one direction a lot
2) set deviation, spread, and accel wait to 0
3) set clipsize to something like 10
4) set maxspeed fairly low, 5-10 ish?
5) fire it

. . . yes/no? I'll copy it when I get around to it.
