ok so now my damage is 25, and it is 260. i can't shoot at the back of my ship.

That's getting better, but two 750 per second damage megabeams is still really, really, really overpowered. Unless the health for the back piece is set to 20 (or something else low) and all of the pieces, or at least weapons are parented to it, then it's still nearly impossible to destroy without plasma that has longer range then the beams .
