My first few ships

I've been lurking through these forums for awhile (like almost a year) and I've finally decided join the ranks of newbies and release a few ships of my own! These first three were going to be part of a fleet until, after reinstalling BF, I was unable to reopen their respective .sb3 files. I decided to leave them as is. Only the Firestorm is incomplete anyway (the Weasel Cannons are not done).

Labrys

My personal favorite of the first three, the Labrys is what I use most often for balancing.

Well, after these, I moved onto the following four ships. I plan to develop this group into a full fleet.

Firebrand

This version is more focused for offense. Its missles home in on its target.

Firebrand-B

This version is more focused for supressing fire. It fires unguided missles.

Argaunt

This ship is a combat specialized frigate. Its main weapons fire powerful bursts of superheated plasma, but the weapons also have a lengthy reload time.

Alcyone

This ship is a mid range destroyer. Instead of firing bursts of plasma like the Argaunt, the Alcyone uses magnetic fields to manipulate the plasma into a concentrated beam.

I hold the Labrys as the most brute force that any of my battleships should have and use DavidBeoulve's system for more general testing. Each ship should not be able to make it through grinder alone. the smaller ones wouldn't be able to make it alone through probably about wave three or something max. The Labrys as the strongest is stopped pretty close or on the last grinder wave.

Those are very nice, especially the last three. Small, yet very good looking. I like that yellow-orange color scheme.

Beautiful! The colour scheme is one of the best I've seen around here. And the modded weapons...awesome!

There's something about the firestorm that I just like, not sure why. Nice ships though. There's so many newbies coming in with better skills than me these days it makes me sad, heh.

Very, very pretty. I see you're rocking the yellow megabeamers and tachyons, and I approve like crazy. Nice combination of curves and sharp angles too... keep making ships!

Nice work for your first ships, it seems.

Just some nitpicks, though;

1) It's missile. M I S S I L E.
2) An unguided "missile" is in fact a rocket.

Gantrid

The Gantrid is an assault frigate. Its purpose is much like the Argaunt's; however, it is more maneuverable and, consequently, more lightly armed, even lacking point defense. This is not a ship for the front line.
