--differences: Mk1 has 2 Boosters, MK2 has 1, but has 2 deflectors and no particle guns

Maby a bit too powerfull..initially the centerline guns were plasma...MK3 version has Gat Blasters for centerline...need suggestions.

You know, you're probably the first ship designer I've seen who's made good use of the ugly girder/collum sections...

Perseus: I don't mind it. It seems rather underpowered, so maybe you should add something to the wing sections and mvoe the mining beams so that they can't be blown off as easily. Also, you might want to swap out the girder sections the mining beamers are mounted on for something else...

Razor: Not liking the name much, but not bad. Again, it looks underpowered and perhaps a bit too much like the Hestia. I think you should either add wings to to the blocks that the blasters are mounted or or else remove them...

Retribution: Thisw as the ship I was reffering to as making good use of the girder sections. I think it's ok and doesn't really look any more powerful than the pirate battle barge. I think you should remove the two foward prongs and swap out the rectangular sections just in front of the core for another copy of the new section (like the one you have just behind the Retribution's core).

Galaxy: TH said that there wasn't to be ships equipped with nano matrixes. I personally don't like overly boxy designs...

Archangel: The way it's firepower is spread out like that, it may not be as unbalanced as you think. I'd say that if you removed the beamers it'd be pretty close to balanced...

I never saw that, i'l have to update my monoliths :( But they are so pretty :(

I love the galaxy design. Its nice and different. Make more ship hulls of the long sleek variety.

Thank you for hte suggestions...most of the designes were made for other games (I'm a big time modeler and modder)...so there's are problems trying to depict the ships..to port over their "feel" from different game to game..

Hell, in FS2 the Archy has around 88 turrets :shock:

Hercules: It's definately overpowered. The alien armoured cruiser, which is also destroyer class, is only armed with two weapons...

Stinger: Nah, don't like it...

ACtually, you'd be surprised how quickly it's destroyed.. It's got no PDS system whatsoever..that patrol craft with 2 demeter drones can kill it realy easy :?

Ya...if you notice, both aeigs protected hull parts rest on a thin, narrow beam.. a couple of Demeters/missiles attakc it...*poof*... no more protection

Actually it dies so fast it's redicolous... either I'll have to re-name it to something more suitable...like Goliath (from the Bible :D ) or Wussmaster..
or make some changes on it,,, :?

For the original retribution I removed 1 beamer...2 is enough. The 2 version also has 2.

All ships are pretty much self-explanatory and all have limited fire axes...45° - 60° .. the small, fighter like ships have axes ranging from 10° - 20°

Retribution 2: This version looks a lot better, well done. I'm still not sure if it's balanced, but at the very least, removing one of the beamers makes it less overpowered...

Pheonix: I really don't like this one. I've never been fond of ships with large numbers of long, sticky-outy bits like the Shadow warship in Babylon 5 has, it's just not really my taste...

Venom: Eh, it's not too bad, but I'm not crazy about it... TH has said before that he's not interested in having patrol craft with sepcail modules...

Shadow: Pretty cool design there. I think the two sections you add for the Shadow II spoils some the sleek, fighter planey feel the Shadow has.. it actually seems pretty balanced BTW, even though it has four sections instead of the patrol craft's usual two...

Stinger: I'm not as into this design as the Shadow. It doesn't look as good.

Pegasus: I can't say I'm keen on the hammer-head bit on the front...

Well, I wanted to make a bird inspired design, and the sticky out parts were a must if I wanted to get it to look right...Still not sure about it (or the name)

Pegaus - the hammer head is made for the deflectors. This ships doesn't have much firepower but it can take a lot of punishment :wink:

Venom - the first version had two lancets only...LOL..it couldn't do ANY damage to a enemy ship but it could render him weaponless very easy..yeah, not balanced at all. I'm still not sure about the lancet, but a craft that does very little damage, but is still dangerous becosue it can cripple bigger warships if used correctly is what I was aiming for.

Shadow II has thoe extra front fins to make it a bit harder to destroy. and it does work ;)
